Lincoln Memorial: Doric Temple of Apollo?

The Lincoln Memorial, on the extended axis of the National Mall in Washington, D.C., is a United States Presidential Memorial built to honor President Abraham Lincoln. The architect was Henry Bacon, the sculptor was Daniel Chester French, and the painter of the interior murals was Jules Guerin. The building is in the form of a Greek Doric temple, and contains a large seated sculpture of Abraham Lincoln and inscriptions of two well-known speeches by Lincoln. The memorial has been the site of many famous speeches, including Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech, delivered on August 28, 1963, during the rally at the end of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. Early examples of the Doric order include the temples at Paestum, in southern Italy, a region called Magna Graecia, which was settled by Greek colonists and retained a strongly Hellenic culture. The Temple of the Delians is a “peripteral” Doric temple, the largest of three dedicated to Apollo on the island of Delos. It was begun in 478 BC and never completely finished. During their period of independence from Athens, the Delians reassigned the temple to the island of Poros. It is “hexastyle”, with six columns across the pedimented end and thirteen along each long face. All the columns are centered under a triglyph in the frieze, except for the corner columns. So the Lincoln Memorial is a reconstructed temple to Apollo. Does the name sound familiar Biblically? Does Apollyon “the Destroyer” ring a bell? In Greek and Roman mythology, Apollo, Apóll?n; was the archer-god of medicine and healing, light, truth, archery and also a bringer of death-dealing plague; as the leader of the Muses (Apollon Musagetes) and director of their choir, he is a god of music and poetry. (Don’t forget Satan’s role with music making in Heaven. Ezekiel 28:13 - “… the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.” As a god of light, Apollo is connected to Prometheus, the light bringer and therefore easily connected with Satan or Lucifer. Apollyon’s name, in Greek“Destroyer” is cognate with the Hebrew Abaddon (lit. “place of destruction,” but here personified) and the Greek god Apollo is also a “destroyer” in his aspect of controlling pestilence. Apollyon seems to be equated in Revelation with the Beast. The term “Apollyon” was often associated by early Christians with The Devil, and fancifully described, and is still used as an alternative name for him. It becomes clearer and clearer that the Lincoln Memorial, memorializes a great man… in the Satanic Temple of Apollo, Abaddon, and/or Apollyon.

Freemason Robert Mills’ design “obelisk and pantheon,” chosen in 1836 by the Masonic panel for the long-planned Washington National Monument. The cornerstone was dedicated by the Grand Lodge of the District of Columbia. Mills was the chosen architect of the Sun Cult, and The Bank, designing a Bunker Hill obelisk proposal, a New Bedford Customs House, first US Washington Monument in Baltimore, and the U.S. Treasury - see back of 10 dollar note.

Obelisks and pillars are in clear terms banned by God in all forms. For all of human history the obelisk and phallus have been raised as the sex organ of the sun god, from Ra and Horus of Egypt to the Canaanite/Jewish Baal (obelisk literally means Baal's Shaft). The sun god, of course, is Lucifer. Though the final Washington Monument design deleted the Pantheon, it kept the point-in-a- circle design using flags in a circle; proving again that the architects and “Founding Fathers” honored the sun god.

Baal worship, as practiced by ancient Israel, included homosexuality, orgies, and child sacrifice... which are, predictably, also the three pillars of America, and the three reasons God can legally bring His full Wrath to annihilate the USA. Coming soon, to a theater near you.

Israel switches citizenship!

Did you catch that? In 1020 BC, Israel wanted to end their citizenship in the Kingdom of Heaven and join the Kingdoms of this world! The end of Israel, by their own choice...amazing. Reminds me of 1776 AD, but more on that later.

Ancient Israel -- just like colonial America -- grew tired of its weird and wonderful sovereign status on this planet. They were the only people on earth who had no proof of citizenship (i.e. passport) except for the Mark of God on their foreheads.[2] Their complaint is hard to comprehend, for they were a people of the greatest priviledges of any people or group on earth - great freedoms, independent communities, no income or property tax or other king-type oppression, safety without any military, freedom of movement and enterprise, and envious prosperity.

But Israel decided they wanted passports, and a king or president, like all other nations. Since they had long since rejected hearing God's Voice[3] and were therefore cut off from wisdom and knowledge of God and truth, they didn't realize that what they were REALLY seeking was the transfer of citizenship from the kingdom of God to citizenship in a kingdom of this world, 100% of which are under the physical AND SPIRITUAL authority of the Prince Of This World[4], per legal arrangement by Adam in the Garden of Eden so long ago. The Prince to which Israel had applied for a passport has numerous names; Lucifer, the Morning Star, the Queen of Heaven, or Tammuz - names of honor used by families such as Bush, Kerry, Greenspan, Wiesenthal, Graham, Rothschild, Joyner, Knights, Jesuits, Rumor Mill News, the CIA and the Sanhedrin, to name a few.

God told Samuel to warn Israel of all the great pain and horror which accompanies a transfer agreement from a Godly nation (not of this world... no passport) to citizenship in a community of the global family of Luciferian nation-states: evil things such as taxation, war and use of their young men to bleed for political leaders, loss of peace, worries about money and the future, and spiritual curses leading to rejection by God. Israel said, “So what? Give us a president, constitution, and a passport like all the other nations!”

Israel Chose The Prince of This World

So God gave it to them. The rest is history. The first leader practiced witchcraft while in office, and died a brutal death after only 2 years. The second leader murdered, fornicated, made bloodshed into an afternoon sporting event, and even organized a database[5] of the citizens (for which God decided to destroy the evil nation-state of Israel, but of which He relented at the last minute after David repented and begged for a future). By the time this cursed “nation experiment” reached the end of only the third leader's term, Israel was immersed deeply into witchcraft and the demonic occult, cut off by God, and was plunged into civil war, Hebrew slaughtering Hebrew (things haven't changed much, have they?) Civil war, by the way, is always a sign that a group has left God, to the point that God is leaving the group.

(Not quick to acknowledge past sin, or to turn from it, the Hebrews have repeated this terrible sin yet once again... in 1948; in many details an exact repetition of 3,000 years ago, including the founder being involved in witchcraft -- Rothschild -- and the first leader consulting other gods - Ben Gurion was a high-ranking Freemason, perhaps Illuminati, according to his prophecies and insider knowledge of Sun Cult plans. As a matter of fact, they even chose the great star of witchcraft for their national symbol, not incorrectly called the Star of Solomon by witches. Amazingly, there are millions of Fallen Christians who believe that the nation-state blasphemously called Israel is a fulfillment of prophecy and a mighty work of God. I suspect that most of those who believe this Sun Cult deception are being given the Mark of the Beast, with God's approval. Can you hear God sharpening his bloody sword for yet another Holocaust?)

Fast forward to 1776 AD.

The miracle of how God's people escaped the Brutal Beast of “Holy Rome” to find peace and rest in an almost unoccupied wilderness of milk and honey is one of history's greatest and most wonderful stories. How they answered to no one but God, lived free from war (except when God miraculously conquered their enemies and expanded their territory. When done under His authority, it happened without any loss of Israeli life!), built magnificent UNwalled cities, and harvested rich crops without any irrigation... things unheard of in the dark halls of pagan world history, especially those ruled by the False Prophet. If any tribe or people had reason to be proud, this was it! (Contrast that Promised Land of God with today's pathetic Masonic state of Israel, where nothing grows without irrigation, where history's highest wall is being built, where the citizens are enemies of the state, where innocent Israeli blood is spilled with weekly regularity, where the word peace is greeted with bitterness. Truly, this “Israeli” nation is a mockery of prophecy, from the hand of the god of Judaism, Lucifer!)

But, sadly, the story doesn't end there. After a brief 284 years, on July 4th, 1776, American Christians, like ancient Israel, ended freedom under God to become “like all the nations”, choosing the corrupt leadership of a king (president), and thereby rejecting the Holy Protection rewarded to those servants of the Kingdom Which Is Not Of This World, thereby starting the clock ticking on her certain and terrible end. The evil paganism in the White House, the severe and startling loss of freedoms, the gutted and broken and hopelessly indebted economy, the explosion of pornagraphy and witchcraft -- collectively, Dark Clouds Gathering -- are all consequences of Americans rejecting God on July 4th, 1776, by replacing God's rule with the rule of man, joining the nation-state family of Lucifer, and calling it ‘good.’

1776. This is the date upon which commenced the drafting of constitutional documents which ended the rule of Christianity, with a clause now known -- in typical Masonic doublespeak -- as Freedom of Religion, which in reality was freedom for the rule of paganism, i.e. the end of American Christian rule, through the law-enforced replacement of community rule (local church leadership - as in Samuel), with the national rule of political office (pagan King Saul), forced open to pagans, Freemasons, Judaism (the sworn enemy of God throughout 3,000 years of history) and agents of the Fourth Beast of Daniel (i.e. the Society of “Jesus”, the Jesuits).

God's Mercy is seemingly without end, as is evident both in the the modern, Illuministic, Federal United States, and the ancient case of occultic, child-sacrificing Israel - a paganism traceable even back to when Israel rejected God with finality on Pentecost before Mt. Sinai. But do not be deceived by the soothing entertainment eminating from America's pulpits: God's Mercy does have limits, and is rooted in justice. Pastors who teach that physical judgment -- such as which destroyed Israel -- no longer falls on His wayward children, will shortly be discredited and lose their flocks, if not their lives.

The Beast's Fatal Wound Is Healed - by Reagan's USA

America was discovered at precisely the time when the Reformation began, in 1492, when the Beast received an apparently fatal wound, and in wrath began to brutally and horribly torture those who dared defy “Holy Rome” by reading the Bible for themselves. (Did you know that the Beast banned Bible reading for centuries? Sadly, now that Bible reading is legal, but still not officially condoned, even today 95% have never done a serious Bible study. If so, the Beast would fall!) America was God's provision of escape and blessing for His faithful from the pagan landscape of “Egypt”, as embodied in the darkness of the European continent (“the Dark Ages”) under the 4th Beast of Daniel. America had a fantastic and perfect climate, whose wonder foods of corn and potatoes outproduced those of Europe by a ratio of four-to-one, whose growing season was perfect for all kinds of fruits and vegetables... truly a paradise, where man could reap almost without sowing. (As was the early Promised Land, before God's Judgment fell on pagan Judaism, and Israel became a harsh desert).

490: The Limit of God's Mercy?

God revealed several stunning dates to the Prophet Daniel: the exact year that Messiah would come, and the exact year that God's Mercy to blasphemous and adulterous Judaism would end. “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people...” (Daniel 9:24) That period was 70 weeks of 7, or 490 years, the limit of God's Mercy to pagan Israel, when the fantastic Gospel of Salvation for sinful man, was ripped from rebellious Jewish hands after the martyrdom of Stephen, and God sent the Jewish elitist Saul (Paul) on a mission to Gentiles that would change the world forever. In a stark reminder to the Jews that He was their Messiah, and that He would shortly judge them and cut them off from the Mountain and the Olive Tree, Jesus repeated this number (70 x 7) to Peter when he asked how often he should forgive his brother. (Matthew 18:21,22)

A pagan Jewish Knight of the Green Cross sailed and discovered “America” in 1492. 490 years later, a man who on camera called himself Antichrist, took the highest political office of the Federal United States, and immediately HEALED THE FATAL WOUND OF THE BEAST, restoring history's first and only serious threat to the Beast back under the authority of the City on Seven Hills[6], with a special presidential order and declaration! This FULFILLED AND COMPLETED the decades old process of RESTORING THE PROPHECY OF REVELATION[8] marking the beginning of the end time. John Adams seems to have been the only president (and his son) to understand this threat to America and where it came from. Here is a quote after the Jesuits reemerged on the world scene after being banned by Europe and the Vatican for pagan worship and subverting sovereign nations, including assassinations:

"I do not like the reappearance of the Jesuits....Shall we not have regular swarms of them here, in as many disguises as only a king of the Gypsies can assume, dressed as printers, publishers, writers and schoolmasters? If ever there was a body of men who merited damnation on earth and in Hell, it is this society of Loyola's. Nevertheless, we are compelled by our system of religious toleration to offer them an asylum." (Letter to Thomas Jefferson, May 5, 1816)

John Quincy's son also understood the Sun Cult and plan of Lucifer, as the founder of the Anti-Mason Party, and author of the 1833 book, Letters on the Masonic Institution.

Daniel 7, and Revelation 13, which repeat the picture of the kingdoms of the lion, bear, leapord and Beast, describe a horn or head (kingdom or nation) which will return the world back under the authority of the Religious Beast empire-state, and this same nation will cause the world to honor the Beast by deception (false Christianity), and cause all the world to take the Mark of the Beast, while at the same time running the end time Holocaust. It should now be obvious to most, that the kingdom which restores worldwide wonder and allegiance to the Beast is America; which is forcing worldwide bio-ID, databases, and international police uniformity and information sharing, not to mention sending a false Christianity worldwide via missionaries, TV preachers and healers, and church-planting and teaching such as the satanic “Purpose Driven” models. America as a nation will be destroyed, but its secret, anti-God societies such as the Vatican's CIA, Bush's Skull and Bones, and the US monopoly on human surveillance and torture camps (Reagan's Rex-84, and Reagan-appointed Hitleresque Rumsfeld), will live on, and force the world to bow the knee, willingly or unwillingly, to the revived dream of Constantine - church and state united under Lucifer, the prince of the kingdoms of this world. Just as Karl Marx, Hitler, and Bush bow the knee in conscious spiritual submission to Lucifer[7], so also will the entire world acknowledge Lucifer, or the Queen of Heaven “the whore Isis with clothes on”, as spiritual head of the globe.

Guatanamo & Co: Training Soldiers To Run Holocaust Camps

You have no idea how close we are to a total, worldwide, Bible ban. If you can't comprehend that, study Russia or talk with those aging men who smuggled Bibles there, for it is Russia which will soon run over Europe and invade the US. I hope you are enjoying your Bible, for it will soon disappear from the earth, and those who dare to be caught with one in their possession or house will be taken to Guatanamo or Iraq, or one of the hundreds of other camps staffed by the Sun Cult, for which American leaders and their blood-oath superiors at the Vatican are feverishly training tens of thousands of US and foreign soldiers, special ops, and Opus Dei cult members; led by leaders such as Bush, Ashcroft, Rumsfeld, Kerry, the CIA (founded by Vatican's official military arm, Knights of Malta), Israeli Mossad, Russian special ops, Queen's MI5, and the restored Office of the Inquisition, headed by German Cardinal Ratzinger (whose meteoric career began as a Nazi gunner.)

Christians who do not care to read their whole Bible misinterpret this 490 to mean forgiveness and mercy should be extended forever. This is false, as America shall soon see. For the Hebrews were given 490 years after they refused to surrender all to God, after which God shut the door, and personally ripped and vacated the Jewish Holy of Holies in the Tabernacle... for all eternity, never to return. (The coming Masonic / Sanhedrin Temple is raw blasphemy and not a sign from God!) The generation under which this happened lived to reap horror, rape, starvation and brutal death at the hands of their hated rulers... and even turned to eating their own children. Only those Jews who received their Daniel-prophesied Messiah escaped. Not only their nation-state ended, but they lost all cohesion, forever driven by fear and the blood-tipped sword of God's wrath, as He promised through the mouth of Moses when the Covenant was given. Til this day, God's sword (nicknamed “Holocaust” and“Anti-semitism” to hide the real reason for Jewish suffering, i.e. rebellion against God) follows the Hebrews of the Star of Solomon, often at the hand of Cabalists themselves. And til this day, they refuse to repent. If you are praying for the peace of Jerusalem, then you are praying either 1) that the pagan house of Israel will reject Cabala, reject the Sanhedrin, and return to their knees in abject humility and sorrow, from the least to the greatest; or 2) that the worldwide Remnant, both the tiny Hebrew portion and the large Gentile portion, will be relieved from current and future persecution by the return of their King. If you are praying for peace for the pagan state of Israel, you are wasting your breathe, and perhaps practicing witchcraft, for praying against God's will, out of your fleshly desires, calling on spirits to do your own will, of which many spirits will be glad to act upon!

After an illumined people have talked with God face-to-face, and tasted of His Goodness... and later insist on a king “like other nations” -- thereby rejecting God's absolute and final authority over themselves -- God's mercy is nevertheless still extended to generations after that in honor of the descendents of those deceased who were faithful - but the judgment is already determined at the point of rejection. Judgment is now. If your pastor has not preached lately on how God's Mercy has an END, and the depth and nature of God's WRATH, you may soon be in for a shock. What happened to pagan Israel in 70 AD is truly small potatoes in comparison to what America's enemies have planned for her!

Is this July 4th the final one for “free”, pagan, unrepentent America?

Will God allow His Holy Name to be stomped into the dirt by America's 500,000 tyrannical soldiers around the globe in His name, her hundreds of camps of torture, her perverted TBN and false Jesus, broadcasting deceit and a false endtime scenario trap to millions of spiritual children around the globe, her despicable pornography factories, and cesspool of ever more lewd Hollywood Cabala?

An end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land.
Now the end has come upon you, and I will send My anger against you;
I will judge you according to your ways, and I will repay you for all your abominations.
My eye will not spare you, nor will I have pity;
But I will repay your ways, and your abominations will be in your midst;
Then you shall know that I am the LORD!

“I am the LORD who strikes...”

Keep that in mind when you want to blame the unfolding collapse and coming horrors on “terrorists”, corrupt presidents, or secret agencies. The terror-creating, and deeply evil politicians are merely God's temporary tools to bring judgment on a completely rebellious and unrepentent American populace, and a deeply pagan Christian Church, which month after month increases its partnership with the 4th Beast of Daniel, ridden by the Whore on Seven Hills.

God is also the one who heals, and restores, but only for a select, elite group - anyone who: will give up ALL control, give up personal goals, turn from serving and planning for self, cut all ties and bonds with darkness and secret orders, feels deep sorrow and repulsion for their state of sin; and, who: will diligently attend to the Voice and daily instructions of God - whatever He commands and wherever on the globe He sends, at a moment's notice, and who is a diligent seeker of Truth, and diligent lover of God our Father. Power to conquer all enemies comes through purity, purity comes through obedience soley to Christ, obedience comes from commitment, commitment comes through surrender, surrender comes from facing the ugliness and selfishness of your soul and crying for help, and crying for help comes from humbling yourself.

Those who seek spiritual power above humility will unconsciously join the church built by Lucifer... and they are many!

Pride will keep you from heaven, purity and power - even if you confess Jesus and join a church. Pride is why Christians join secret societies and eventually become enemies of truth, enemies of their country, enemies of freedom and lovers of pleasure and power - and forfeit eternal life. Pride is how God's greatest and most beautiful creation -- Lucifer -- was not satisfied to be the most gifted and right-hand commander next to God.

Don't do pride.

Final warnings:

It is a small thing to lose one's country, especially when it is evil. 999 out of 1,000 people reading this did not choose where they were born. If you cringe when your country is criticized, then you are not fully a citizen of the nation of God.
Don't siphon off allegiance to God, by pledging allegiance to darkness. Or darkness' flag.
The end time is when the wound of the Beast is healed, which is already decades old.
Persecution, and the next Vatican Inquisition and Holocaust, are in final stages of implementation, and being staffed and trained, as I write. There is abundant evidence in the Bible and in Judaic/Masonic plans, that true Christians will suffer and die in the next few years. If the Bible is true, Christ's return is not the rapture per se, but the end of the world, and judgment. If you read Matthew 24 in context of the whole Bible, it is overwhelmingly clear that all Christians will go through suffering unto death, that “one taken, one left” is a picture of judgment. If your church is a deception planted by Lucifer, then it has removed the critical Feasts and Festivals of the Messiah, and this will be your stumbling stone.
The door on the ark will close BEFORE it starts raining. When the rain starts, you will not find God, only terror and death.
Getting pure and getting power is a long, hard road. If you wait until the next lockdown, when round ups and home searches begin, and then pray a prayer of desperation - then the door on the ark will be closed for you. You need power BEFORE the CIA unleashes its roundup, for they will be permitted to use the full power of Lucifer on you, and technology which can overcome any human being's will. They can force you into demonic possession by manipulating your mind or by erasing your memory, and only the superior power and presence of God -- available only to the elect -- will protect those who are His (and you know who you are!).
Get the MARK OF GOD your FOREHEAD. If you haven't heard about getting the Mark of God on your forehead, then you are probably a victim of Vatican agent Hal Lindsey or Vatican/Moonie agent Tim LaHaye. If you can't hear God's Voice, and haven't studied the Bible for yourself but trust what some seminar or book told you, then chances are good that you are not God's.

May God bless you and protect you with the annointing of His Presence and His Voice, as the fury of hell and the Wrath of God break out on the earth!

DANIEL'S 70TH WEEK 490 YEARS

Thank you for contacting me.

Matthew Henry was as wrong about the literal truth of the prophecy of the 70 weeks of years as was Luther about the understanding of the Lord's Table, he teaching the error of consubstantiation. Both men were greatly used by the Lord but on these points were simply wrong.

Further, the early church looked forward to a coming Antichrist and thus a future time of Great Tribulation. Sir Robert Anderson wrote in his The Coming Prince on page 184:

"That the seventieth week will be the last seven years of the dispensation, and the term of the reign of Antichrist, is a belief as old as the writings of the Ante-Nicene Fathers." [Emphasis added]

Clarence Larkin adds in his Dispensational Truth on page 5:

"This view [that chapters 6-19 of The Revelation are future and thus transpire during the future 70th week of Daniel], while it dates in modern times only from the close of the Sixteenth Century, is really the most ancient of the three [schools, the Preterist, the Historical and the Futurist]. It was held in many of its prominent features by the primitive Fathers of the Chutrch, and is one of the early interpretations of scripture truth that sunk into oblivion with the growth of the Papacy, and that has been restored to the Church in these last times."

Further, I challange anyone to find in any of the writings of Jesuit Ribera a scriptural exegesis explaining the 70th week of Daniel to be yet future. Ribera only referred to the Antichrist as being yet future intending to get the eyes of the Reformed peoples off the pope of Rome---something I never do. Further, for anyone to hold that the 70th week is a creation of the Jesuits via John Nelson Darby in the 19th century is incorrect. Darby was no Jesuit, his falling out was with an apostate Church of England then in the hands of the Jesuits who also controlled that witch, Queen Victoria, who gave refuge to the Order's puppet, Napoleon III after his defeat at Sedan in 1871, who re-established the Knights of Malta in England in 1885, and who opened up dialogue with the Vatican on her own initiative in 1877.

Now concerning the understanding of the prophecy of the 70 weeks of years, it will never be rightly comprehended unless the date beginning the 490-year period is established within the confines of the scriptures. The great question is "Where in the Bible was the command given to rebuild the city of Jerusalem?" As per Daniel 9:25, that command would begin the countdown to "Messiah the Prince."

The brethren of your position hold that command was given in Ezra 7:1-28. But this position is impossible, as nowhere in that chapter or in the entire book of Ezra is a command given to "build Jerusalem." That command was given in Nehemiah 2:1-8, and nowhere else in the scripture of truth. Ezra concerns the building of the temple; Nehemiah concerns the building of the city of Jerusalem.

Until you re-establish the date for the command issued to build Jerusalem being in the 20th year of the King Artaxerxes as per Nehemiah 2, then the discussion about the prophecy of the 70 weeks can never be scrpturally discussed. DANIEL'S 70TH WEEK 490 YEARS
The Bible says, "He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease." Daniel 9:27.

Have you ever heard of the "seven-year period of great tribulation"? The whole idea is rooted in two words of the above sentence! The two words are "one week." Supposedly, that period of "one week" applies to the final seven-year period of great tribulation at the end of time. Right now, all over planet Earth, in books, in magazines, in videos, on the radio, in seminaries, on the Internet, and at Bible prophecy conferences, Christians are talking about events that they firmly believe will occur during a final seven years of tribulation.

According to the popular interpretation of Daniel 9:27, the "he" refers to a future Antichrist who will eventually make a covenant, or peace treaty, with the Jews during the final seven years of tribulation. In the "midst" of this tribulation, this Antichrist will cause "the sacrifice … to cease." In order for the sacrifices to cease, they must have been restarted. Therefore, according to countless modern interpreters, there must be a rebuilt third Jewish temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

A popular Christian magazine called Endtime reflects this current view: "Three and one-half years after the confirming of the covenant [by the Antichrist] the Jews’ Third Temple must be completed and sacrifice and oblation be in progress. We know this because Daniel 9:27 states that in the middle of the seven years the Antichrist will cause the sacrifice and the oblation to stop." Much of the Christian world is now locked in a fierce debate about whether Jesus will return for His church before the 7 years (the pre-tribulation view), in the midst of the 7 years (the mid-tribulation view), or at the end of the 7 years (the post-tribulation view). Yet by far the most explosive question, which few seem to be asking, should be "Is and end-time ‘seven-year period of great tribulation’ really the correct interpretation of Daniel 9:27 in the first place?"

Historically, Protestant scholars have not applied Daniel 9:27 to a future period of tribulation at all! Neither have they applied the "he" to the Antichrist! Rather, they applied it to Jesus Christ. Notice what the world-famous Bible commentary written by Matthew Henry says about Daniel 9:27: "By offering himself a sacrifice once and for all he [Jesus] shall put an end to all the Levitical sacrifices." Another famous Bible commentary, written by Adam Clarke, says that during the "term of seven years," Jesus would "confirm or ratify the new covenant with mankind." Finally, another well-respected old commentary declares: "He shall confirm the covenant—Christ. The confirmation of the covenant is assigned to Him."

The following 10 points provide logical and convincing evidence that the "one week" spoken of in Daniel 9:27 does not apply to any future seven-year period of tribulation at all. Rather, this great prophetic period has already been definitely fulfilled in the past!

1) The entire prophecy of Daniel 9:24-27 covers a period of "seventy weeks." This period applies to one complete, sequential block of time. This prophecy would start during the Persian period and would end during the time of the Messiah.

2) Logic requires that the 70th week follow immediately after the 69th week. If it does not, then it cannot properly be called the 70th week!

3) It is illogical to insert a 2,000-year gap between the 69th and the 70th week. No hint of this gap is found in the prophecy itself. There is no gap between the first 7 weeks and the following 62 weeks. Why insert one between the 69th and the 70th week?

4) Daniel 9:27 says nothing about a seven-year period of tribulation, or about any Antichrist.

5) The focus of this prophecy is the Messiah, not the Antichrist. Modern interpreters have applied "the people of the prince" who would come to "destroy the city and the sanctuary" (verse 26) to the Antichrist. Yet the text does not say this. In the past, that sentence has been applied to the Romans, who under Prince Titus did "destroy the city and the sanctuary" in A.D. 70.

6) "He shall confirm the covenant." Jesus Christ came "to confirm the promises made unto the fathers." Romans 15:8. Nowhere in the Bible is Antichrist ever said to make or confirm a covenant with anyone! The word "covenant" always applies to the Messiah, never to the Antichrist!

7) "He shall confirm the covenant with many." Jesus said, "This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many." Matthew 26:28. Jesus used the same words, because He knew that He was fulfilling Daniel 9:27!

8) "In the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease." The 70th week was from A.D. 27 to 34. After three and a half years of ministry, Christ died in A.D. 31, "in the midst [middle] of the week." At the moment of His death, "the veil of the temple was rent [torn] in twain from the top to the bottom." Matthew 27:51. This act of God signified that all animal sacrifices had at that moment ceased to be of value. The Great Sacrifice had been offered!

9) "For the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate." Jesus plainly applied this "abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet" (Matthew 24:15) to the time when His followers were to flee from Jerusalem before the destruction of the second temple in A.D. 70. Jesus told His 12 disciples, "When ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies [the Roman armies led by Prince Titus], then know that its desolation is near." Luke 21:20, emphasis added. Those disciples did "see" those very events. Christ’s very last words to the Pharisees from inside the second temple were, "Behold, your house is left unto you desolate." Matthew 23:38. Thus Daniel’s prophecy about Jerusalem becoming "desolate" was exactly fulfilled in A.D. 70! Jesus understood this perfectly.

10) Gabriel said that the 70-week prophecy specifically applied to the Jewish people (Daniel 9:24). From A.D. 27 to A.D. 34, the disciples went only "to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." Matthew 10:6. At the end of the 70 weeks, in the year A.D. 34, Stephen was stoned by the Jewish Sanhedrin (Acts chapter 7). Then the gospel began to go to the Gentiles. In Acts chapter 9, Saul became Paul, "the apostle of the Gentiles." Romans 11:13. Then in Acts chapter 10, God gave Peter a vision revealing that it was now time to preach the gospel to the Gentiles (Acts 10:1-28). Read also Acts 13:46.

The explosive evidence is overwhelming! Point by point, the events of the 70th week have already been fulfilled in the past! The following eight words found in Daniel 9:27: "confirm...covenant...many...midst...sacrifice...cease... abominations...desolate": all find a perfect fulfillment in Jesus Christ and in early Christian history.

One reason why the Jewish nation as a whole failed to receive its Messiah was because its leaders and scholars failed to correctly interpret the 70-week prophecy. They failed to see Jesus Christ as the Messiah who died in the midst of the 70th week. The same thing is happening today! Amazingly, sincere Christian scholars are now misinterpreting the very same prophecy.

The entire "seven-year period of great tribulation" theory is a grand illusion. It may go down in history as the biggest evangelical misinterpretation of the 20th century! It can be compared to a big, fat hot air balloon. Inside, there is no substance, only air. As soon as Daniel 9:27 is understood correctly and the pin of truth is inserted, the balloon will pop. The fact is that no text in the Bible teaches any "seven-year period of great tribulation." If you look for it, you will end up like Ponce de Leon, who tirelessly searched for the famous fountain of youth but never found it.

Albert Pike was a Luciferian (Follower of Lucifer) who confessed Lucifer as his own god. (see his quote below) He was the former Sovereign Grand Commander of the Supreme Council of Grand Sovereign Inspectors General of the 33rd Degree. I now believe that the Jesuit Council of Ten is composed of the ten most powerful Roman families in the world. It appears that the “ten kings” of Revelation 17:10 will proceed from these ten families—possibly. Yet, I still maintain that the Black Pope is the man in whom has been vested all final authority as to the direction of world affairs tending to the devil’s absolute extension of the Pope’s Two Swords—universal Spiritual Power and universal Temporal Power.

Again, the Jesuit Council of Ten is not above the Black Pope: he is above it regardless of the fact of his nobility or lack thereof, the Order having submitted the bluebloods of every nation to the power of the Jesuit General. The history of the last 200 years validates this conclusion. The top two percent of the Jesuits—professed of the fourth vow—are abjectly submitted to their “Father General” who rules all human affairs as permitted by the risen Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesuit Temporal Coadjutor F. Tupper Saussy was right, they are the Rulers of Evil—period.

As to the Cold War, it was entirely a terrible Hoax calculated to deceive and divide the masses into two essential camps—with no choice of a third. The leaders of both camps were controlled by Rome. (This is why both Freemasons Harry Truman in the “West,” and Josef Stalin in the “East,” recognized the Nation of Israel within 24 hours of the country’s declared independence.) Therefore, Mr. Gregoire’s reasoning as to why Pope John Paul I was murdered is complete nonsense! Rome, the font of Marxist Socialist-Communism via Sir Thomas More’s Utopia after which treatise the Socialist-Communist Company of Jesus modeled its Paraguayan Reductions (1609-1759), was to play the role of being anti-communist until the calculated closing of the Vatican’s Cold War Hoax in 1990.

Further, since Rome’s endgame is the international, atheistic, evolution-based, religion of socialist-communism, the Jesuits accomplished two things relative to this discussion. Under the false threat of communism, it perfected its unified intelligence community in Europe while flushing out all true nationalists, placing them in such futile groups as Gladio, Odessa, etc. True nationalism was thwarted via the pro-nationalist, anti-communist, false-front organizations that never fired one bullet into the communist camp. (Knight of Malta J. Peter Grace’s Radio Free Europe was a farce, mere anti-communist propaganda never intended to truly oppose “the big Red Machine.”) All that needed to be done was to cut off all grain and technology from the US to Moscow and the USSR would have imploded!

The fornicating, sex-crazed, filthy rich, Aldobrandinis’ paranoia as to extreme, left-wing, “Red Brigade” activities was the typical smoke-and-mirrors, Jesuit modus operandi. The Jesuit Council member’s open but false policy—as recorded by that author—was to stoke the fires of anti-communism, knowing full well that communist Russia had virtually no manufacturing infrastructure until the mid-1970s. The USSR could not beat the boy scouts in war, not to mention the highly financed, highly technological, American-backed, US and NATO forces.

But Rome’s secret policy was to back Socialist-Communism—as stated by Alberto Rivera. That is why the US, Canada, the UK, the EU, China, Russia and South Africa—as well as all of South America via Jesuit Liberation Theology—are all Marxian Socialist Communist. This religion is the foundation of all academic institutions in the world. As was the case in Nazi Germany, so was it in post-war Europe: all attempts to defend true nationalism via Jesuit Socialist-Fascism always defeat the true nationalists. That scenario is about to be repeated here in the US in short order.

Always remember, Rome has an open but false policy as opposed to its secret but true policy. And Lucian Gregoire, whom you cite below, was merely repeating Rome’s open but false policy of being the die-hard enemy of Socialist-Communism. Soviet Communism was never ever so volatile that it could have gotten out of control. The Jesuit murder of Josef Stalin and Lavrenty Beria prove the point. Stalin arrested Alexander Poskrebyshev and Nicoli Vlasik—the Order’s two most powerful generals overseeing the Black Pope’s Soviet KGB—in late 1952. Within months Stalin had been poisoned: Beria was blamed for it, he too dying of ”the poison cup” several months later. All communist dictatorships are tempered with assassination. The disobedient are removed, as is the case here in the US. Further, there has always been a hotline directly from the White House to the Kremlin since World War II. Any policies that appear to be threatening are immediately solved via “the Red Phone.”

The false communist threat in the East served the Order in justifying the creation of first the EEC and then the EU in the West. Without that nonsensical game, no revived Roman Empire under the Pope of Rome could have been built during the Pope’s Cold War Hoax. Now that the EU is built and the Cold War is “over,” the entire economic policies of the EU are indeed Socialist-Communist under the guise of “democracy”—social democracy. Just look at the recent bailout of Greece at the expense of Germany!

Therefore the Aldobrandinis’ paranoia concerning attacks from the “left-wing militants during the 1970s”—groups like Germany’s Bader-Meinhof Gang secretly backed by Pullach’s BND—fueled the Pope’s Cold War paranoia as purposed by the Order. Meanwhile in the secret corridors of power, the Aldobrandinis must have laughed heartily at the ignorance of the masses so easily deceived by the Pope’s Jesuit Temporal Coadjutors.

I always like to hear or read of personal accounts from different people involving their coming into contact with various members of the so-called global elite. I say “so-called” so as to not give them any more prestige than is already heaped on them. The account below from a poster at The Unhived Mind forum reminded me of an old friend of mine who had a job one day installing a sound system at David Mayer de Rothschild’s estate (If I recall correctly he said that he saw a large phoenix icon in the mansion).

To the matter at hand: If we are to take the account that was relayed to our fellow researcher below as being in any way accurate, then what are your opinions as to how this reflects on Vivian’s contention that the Aldobrandinis are one of the key families that are at the peak of the covert global power structure & that they in fact oversee the Jesuits?

Or even, as seems to be the position that Eric is now allowing for: that the members Jesuit Council that these families have representatives on can be in an informed enough position concerning the bigger picture to act in an advisory capacity at the level that is conceded?

Eric contends (& has provided a reasonable body of evidence to back his thesis, which my own research has led me to acknowledge as being the most likely of scenarios) that the Cold War was at the highest levels a “beyond top secret” smoke & mirrors show that benefitted the central banking system, arms business & the rest of the military-industrial complex & the ongoing orchestrated dialectical strategy needed to implement an overt global geo-political entity implemented for the benefit of the Roman power nexus.

If that is the case then how do the two of you account for this eyewitness report of the Aldobrandinis paranoia of extreme left-wing militant forces (presumably the likes of the Red Brigade) that were unwittingly controlled by extreme right-wing forces, including intelligence operatives within Operation Gladio & P2 structures, that would have had the blessings of the CIA, NATO & Rome? Do you think that the situation that had been created was so volatile that it was often less than full confidence as to what the outcome might be? It may be a theoretical proposition to consider now, but how far do you think that the grassroots groundswell support for the Left could have have brought about the downfall of the status quo in Italy?

I have long maintained that the Western European elite were happy for there to be Communism in Eastern Europe & China (aided & orchestrated by the West), providing that it didn’t make great headway in Western Europe, which would have accelerated their desired changes to come about too soon, so that the delicate balance of parts would likely gel less than perfectly, providing a less stable infrastructure, not too mention messing up the advantages to be milked from another decade or so of Cold War.

Where did that shot come from? Those who advocate the theory say the kill shot came from the grassy knoll via Liddy on orders from Poppy Bush---an impossiblity in light of the wounds caused by the trajectory of the final shot.

so when people ask me why (after such a great lead up) do you finger Greer as the final shot; I basically express that it’s easier to name Greer (since he’s dead, and Liddy’s very much alive) but that you are aware that Liddy was one of the shooters.

I know he was a shooter NOW and will be naming him in VAIII on the testimony of Emily. I did not know he was involved when writing VAI or VAII.

I guess I just figured that I’d mention it- because I respect your work, and I want people who are educated in these final details to respect all of your work- not all of it “except Greer”.

OK. The facts are as I understand them:

1. All Jesuit assassinations are up close and very personal when a firearm is involved. No assassinations are carried out using rifles in a civilian theater---ever! Jesuit Coadjutor Stone was right in JFK; a chief executive has not be executed with a rifle in over 200 years.

2. Abraham Zapruder was a 32nd Jewish Freemason and a contract agent for the CIA. In Dallas, that fateful day, he was contracted to film the assassination. He was not forced off his post and his secretary was there behind him, stablizing him. After the fatal shot and as the limo was accelerating, Zapruder followed the limo filming the vehicle until it disappeared under the underpass, yet Zapruder heard the shot at the grassy knoll and must have seen the smoke in his peripheral vision. Because he was a contract agent for the CIA, he deliberately did not move his camera just a little farther to the right, which move would have photographed the fence at the grassy knoll and quite possibly would have revealed the shooter. People were running towards him and he knew a shot had been fired from behind the picket fence, jet he refused to go there with his camera---ever.

3. The shot at the grassy knoll was a mere distraction evidenced by the smoke emerging after the shot. We have had smokeless gunpowder for the last 100 years. The grassy knoll shooter (possibly mafioso James Files as he claims) shot a "fireball" that was so loud and smoky that it only could have been a distractionary tactic just as the planes plowing into the WTC were distractionary shots, not at all responsible for the crumbling of the buildings. Further, I have been at the fence at the grassy knoll and it is a most difficult shot in that the vehicle was still moving; JFK was moving somewhat; Jackie was not to be hit on orders of Spellman's SMOMs; and most of all the trajectory could never have made the resulting head wounds as noted by the doctors at Parkland Hospital. The trajectory entered above and to the right of the right eye. This entry wound was surgically tampered with before the body arrived at Bethesda Naval Hospital according to the work of David Lifton. As you know, the exit wound was almost level with the entry wound and quite large, with the right rear portion of JFK's head blown out. There was brain matter on the trunk which Jackie grabbed after she was forced back into her seat by SSA Clint Hill, he having mounted the limo after he had anticipated the shot.

This means that the killing shot came from the front and was level as it traveled through JFK's head. Kellerman had turned around before the final kill shot; Greer had turned around twice, the second time at frame 313 JFK's head lights up with flame (the flame evidencing a point blank shot) from the kill shot at the moment Greer turned around anticipating the final shot coming from "somewhere."

This means that the final shot could only come from the front, directly in front of JFK and not from the right front as a right front shot would have blown the left side of the rear of JFK's head out, not the right rear side as is well known.

Further, it was Dr. Peter Beter who in one of his audio letters of 1976 said that the killing shot came from within the vehicle---but he never said that shot came from either Greer or Kellerman. Later, Dr. Stuart Crane, a coordinator for the JBS for seven years said openly that the driver shot JFK years before William Cooper ever proved his point. Further, when I was in Reno in 2001 for a TV interview with Dennis Grover, a woman approached me after the show and told me that it was indeed the driver that killed JFK. A close relative saw the driver shoot his weapon and as a result he had been forced to move from city to city for the last thirty years.

Let us look at the Nix film. The key frame at the time of the fatal shot was doctored by UPI and a section running from right to left about one foot in scale was obliterated, removing any view of the driver. Look at the JFK film by Jesuit Coadjutor Oliver Stone: the driver is completely cut out of the film! Why was this done, if the driver did not do the shooting?

There is only one puzzle piece that does not fit together here. According to Deputy Sheriff Roger Craig---who was later murdered with a rifle at close range---a .45 slug was found in the grass among blood and brain matter just on the other side of the curb opposite the curb on the side of the grassy knoll. If this .45 slug was indeed indicative of the direction from whence came the final shot, then the driver did not shoot this .45 round. I believe that the slug was indeed shot by the driver as indicated by the wounds in JFK's head; that it was brushed by Hill off the trunk of the limo into the grass when he mounted the vehicle. Jackie knew that Greer did the shooting for which reason she tries to exit the vehicle.

One final thought. In 1973 Executive Action was released. It is said that George DeMohrenshildt was secretly involved in the making of the movie. One of the subliminals in the movie is that actor Will Greer plays the old industrialist "Mr. Fergeson," who is portrayed as the character ultimately resposible for the assassination. Could it be that the secret message of the film was that the real Will Greer was indeed the assassin of JFK? I most definately think so. It is the safest conclusion in light of all the facts.

Maybe you should just narrow it down to the group, leaving Greer in (after all, he did drive the Ambulance to Bethesda as well); and letting the reader make a determination.

But the reader will never come to a determination on his own. A position must be taken, right or wrong, and then attacked with facts. If incorrect then the position must be changed if the author is honest. I have not yet found any facts that would contradict that a shot was fired from the front---point blank evidenced by the flame on JFK's head---that would indicate anyone other than Greer could have done the shooting. There is a button on my site (Assassin Greer) that explains this quite well if you have not seen it.

Further, I believe that William Cooper was right in fingering Robert Groden as a agent provocatur, Groden denying that the driver did the shooting. Groden is to keep the parlor game alive.

Lastly- MC Piper’s book references Gary Wean’s book/research (Wean died recently) and Wean’s work is tight- Piper’s still off base, and since I like you, I thought that I’d return the favor to let you know what the word on the street is, from people who are into these pieces of history.

What is Wean's position on the fatal shot? Piper has referenced many accurate sources evidencing much work went into his FJ. But yes, to claim that the Zionists killed JFK evidenced by Rabin's presence in Dallas is, I believe, a deliberate lie on his part. He knows too much necessitating a conclusion that a much bigger power was behind the assassination and cover-up. HaSheeloosh HaKadosh: The Holy Trinity

It is crucial to know who God really is. If we would have true spiritual power, if we would experience God's blessing, and if we would have eternal life, we must think of God as He is, not as we think He is. Idolatry does not consist only in bowing before statues. The essence of idolatry is having thoughts about God that are untrue and unworthy of Him.

The knowledge of the HaSheeloosh HaKadosh (the Holy Trinity) does not come from nature, but from divine revelation. Reason may lead us to believe in the oneness of God, but it takes God's self-disclosure to reveal His Tri-unity, His Three-in-Oneness. It took special revelation, God's self disclosure in His Word, to reveal that His nature is one of Plurality-in-Singleness, Trinity-in-Unity, Three-in-Oneness. Since God has revealed His unique Tri-une nature, it is essential that we think of God as He is or suffer the most dire consequences.

There are many people who reject everything that they cannot understand or explain. They toss out anything that does not make sense to them, or does not seem reasonable. Applying this principle to Almighty God (for whom nothing is impossible), they conclude that it is impossible that He can be Three and yet One. They deny the Trinity on the grounds that it doesn't make sense to them.

These people forget that their whole life is surrounded by mysteries they do not understand. They fail to consider that any real explanation of even the simplest phenomenon in nature lies in hidden obscurity, beyond their comprehension. Despite the great advancements in science over the past five hundred years we still can't answer most of the questions that the Almighty posed to Job: Have you ever commanded the morning, and caused the dawn to know its place? Have you walked in the recesses of the deep? Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades, or loose the cords of Orion? Can you lead forth a constellation in its season, and guide the Bear with her satellites? Do you know the ordinances of the heavens, or fix their rule over the earth? Do you give the horse his might? Is it by your understanding that the hawk soars, stretching his wings? Is it at your command that the eagle mounts up?

Do you know why your nose appreciates the smell of a rose but is repulsed by the odor of rotting garbage? Do you understand how your eye can see? Do you understand why electrons spinning around the nucleus of an atom don't go flying off into space? Do you understand the zoo of subatomic particles like protons, neutrons, electrons, leptons, baryons, gluons, muons, taus, neutrinos, mesons, and the various quarks that are the basic building blocks of energy and matter? We don't fully understand the workings of a simple cell in our bodies, or how a seed grows. We don't understand why a baby takes its first breath. Most of us don't know why a rainbow forms the way does, or how a beautiful sunset takes shape, or how a computer computes, or how a fax faxes. This universe, even after all our advances in science, is still an inscrutable mystery.

Since we can't understand the fall of a leaf from a tree, the hatching of a robin's egg in our front yard, the mystery of a caterpillar spinning a cocoon and emerging as a spectacular butterfly, how a spider knows to spin a complex, strong and beautiful web, how a salmon returns to the exact spot in the river where it was born three years earlier, why should we expect to fathom the greatest mystery of all, the eternal, all powerful, all knowing and all wise Three-in-One? No finite being is capable of understanding an infinite God.

The fact that the Trinity cannot be satisfactorily explained is actually a strong argument in its favor, because the Uncreated is ultimately unknowable by any created thing. One wise man observed this: We think more loftily of God by knowing that He is incomprehensible and above our understanding than by conceiving Him according to our crude understanding. God cannot be fully known by man, unless the unknowable could be known, and the invisible seen, and the inaccessible attained, and the incomprehensible understood. If we could understand God, then He would have to be less than God.

In fact God's divine revelation, the Bible, affirms the total inability of the human mind to come to know the mystery of the Holy Trinity. He dwells in unapproachable light whom no man has seen or can see (1 Tim. 6:16). The Lord can never be comprehended as He is in Himself. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is too high, I cannot attain to it wise King David admitted (Psalm 139:6). Our best efforts to grasp the mystery of the Trinity will always be futile. Only by faith, by trusting and believing God's special revelation, the Bible, can we come anywhere close to knowing Him.

The Trinity was first hinted at in the Tenach (the Hebrew Scriptures): In the first verse of the Jewish Bible, God is revealed as a unity with a plurality.

Plural Name: "Elohim" is the third word of the Hebrew Scriptures: In the beginning "Elohim" - "God" (Genesis 1:1). Elohim comes from a root that means "strength, might, or power." "Elohim" is the most common word for "God" and is used over 2300 times in the Scriptures. "Elohim" is plural and can be literally translated as "gods." Exodus 12:12 refers to "all the elohim (gods) of Egypt." "Eloah" is the singular form of "Elohim," but it is used much less frequently - only 250 times. This plural name that is applied to the One God is a hint of the plural/singular nature of God that is more fully revealed in the rest of the Scriptures.

Plural Verbs: Normally the plural name "Elohim" is followed by a singular verb. But there are several fascinating instances when "Elohim" is accompanied by a plural verb. Genesis 20:13 literally says in Hebrew that Elohim (God) they caused me to wander from my father's house... And in Genesis 35:7 Elohim (God) they appeared to him. 2 Samuel 7:23 says: What nation on the earth is like Your people Israel, whom Elohim they went to redeem for Himself. Psalm 58:11 declares that surely there is a God they judge the earth.

Plural Pronouns: There are times when plural pronouns are used to describe the One God. The Lord God, speaking in Genesis 1:26 says: Let Us make man in Our image according to Our likeness. (See also Genesis 3:22, 11:7 and Isaiah 6:8 for other instances of plural pronouns that refer to God).

Plural Nouns: There are several intriguing occurrences where plural nouns refer to the one God: The LORD... He is a holy God [literally holy Gods] (Joshua 24:19). Remember your Creator [literally Creators] in the days of your youth (Ec. 12:1). Let Israel rejoice in his Maker [literally Makers] (Psalm 149:2). For your Maker [literally Makers] is your husband [literally husbands] (Isaiah 54:5).

Plural Descriptions: In the Tenach there are mysterious plural descriptions of the Three-in-One God. King David writes: The Lord (Adonai) says to my Lord: sit at my right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet (Psalm 110:1). Psalm 45:6-7 records this: Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; a scepter of uprightness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness, therefore God, Your God has anointed You with the oil of joy more than Your fellows. The apostle to the Messianic Jews applies this passage to Messiah, declaring that Yeshua is God, and that His Father is God (see Hebrews 1:8-9).

In Genesis 1:1-3 God (Elohim, which is a plural), the Spirit of God and the Word of God (and God said...), are all involved in the creation of the universe.

In Isaiah 48 One speaks who calls Himself the first and the last, and the One who founded the earth. He goes on to say that from the first I have not spoken in secret, from the time it took place I was there. And now the Lord God has sent Me, and His Spirit (Isaiah 48:12-16). The Creator who is speaking claims to have been sent by the Lord God and His Spirit!

In the Jewish Bible God is pictured sitting on His throne in Heaven, and at the same time He is present everywhere throughout the universe (where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your Presence? - Psalm 139:7), and at the same time the Spirit of God was dwelling in the prophets, and at the same time the Shechinah (God's Dwelling Presence, the Glory of God, the Holy Spirit) was manifested in the Jerusalem Temple (1 Kings 8:27)!

From time to time God manifested Himself as the enigmatic Angel of the Lord, a mysterious messenger being (angel means messenger) who appeared throughout our people's history. When He appeared this mysterious angel was treated as God Himself. He possessed divine prerogatives, He had divine authority, and He received divine worship. When Manoah, the father of Samson, finally realized that he was dealing with the Angel of the Lord, he said to his wife, we shall surely die, for we have seen God (Judges 13:21-22). In that same chapter, God is mentioned, the Angel of the Lord (who is called God), is mentioned, and the Spirit of God is mentioned. (See Genesis 16:7, 9, 11, Exodus 3:2-6, Judges 2:1-4, 6:11-22, for other appearances of this mysterious Angel of the Lord).

What about the Shema? Some have objected that the Shema (Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One - Deut. 6:4) reveals that God can only be a simple unity. But there are two Hebrew words for "one" - "echad" and "yachid." "Echad," which is used to describe the oneness of God in the Shema, connotes a composite oneness, as in the unity of a husband and wife, which are said to be "one" flesh (Genesis 2:24). "Yachid," which is not used in the Shema, connotes an absolute oneness, as that of an only son (Genesis 22:2). The Shema teaches the unity of God, based on a oneness that allows for a composite Three-In-Oneness.

HaSheeloosh HaKadosh was clearly revealed by Messiah Yeshua: God's singular/plural nature was hinted at, but not fully understood by the holy Jewish prophets and priests in the Tenach. It took the revelation of the Son of God to clearly and fully reveal God's Three-in-Oneness.

In many ways Messiah Yeshua claimed equality with God: Messiah Yeshua did not hesitate to use the plural when speaking of Himself along with the Father. We will come to Him and make Our abode with him (John 14:23). I and My Father are One (John 10:30). He stated that the person who had seen Him had seen God (John 14:8-9). He told us that we are to be immersed in the name (singular) of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19). When Yeshua told a group of Jewish leaders, Before Abraham was, I Am (John 8:58), He claimed to be the same eternal "I Am" God that appeared to Moses at the burning bush (See Exodus 3:14). He claimed to be omnipresent, which is only applicable to God. He stated that wherever two or three are gathered in His name, He is there in their midst (Matt. 18:20). He promised to be with each one of His followers to the end of time (Matt. 28:20). He claimed the attribute of omnipotence when He said that all authority in heaven and on earth has been entrusted to Him, and that He has power over all things (Matt. 28:18). Even though honor and worship is something that only God can receive, Yeshua instructed us that He was to be equally worshipped along with the Father. All are to honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him (John 5:23). He claimed to be the proper object of our faith, and that if we believed in Him we would live forever but if we didn't we would miss eternal life (John 3:16, 8:24).

Yeshua claimed to do mighty works that only God can do: He claimed that He is the source of life (John 14:6), and that He gives eternal life to whom He wishes (John 5:2), when God alone is the Source and Giver of life. Even though God is the only one that prayer may be directed to, Yeshua claimed that He hears and answers prayers from all people at all times in all places. Whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If You ask Me anything in My name, I will do it (John 14:13-14). He claimed that He sends the Holy Spirit (John 15:26), something that only God can do. He claimed that He indwells all believers (John 14:23), something that only God can do. He claimed that He will be the One who raises the dead on the Last Day (John 10:37-38, 11:25), something that only God will do. He claimed that on the Day of Judgement all human beings will appear before Him for their judgement (John 5:22, 27), something that only God will do. He claimed to have authority to forgive sins, something that only God can do (Luke 5:17-26).

Messiah Yeshua made these claims about Himself. By doing so He was the first to clearly reveal these truths about the unique unity of nature and relationship between Him and His Father. Then He proved His claims by doing signs and wonders and mighty acts of power that demonstrated that He was supernaturally sent and empowered by God. Yeshua demonstrated His power to heal. He showed His power to raise the dead. He demonstrated His power over nature. He manifested His power over Satan and all the hosts of hell. He proved that He had authority over His own life, authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. Since God would never allow a liar or a deceiver to be raised from the dead, Yeshua's resurrection from the dead was the final demonstration that everything that He said and did and claimed was done with God's blessing and approval, and that what Messiah Yeshua said was the absolute truth. That is why a leading rabbi like Nicodemus could say to Him: Rabbi, we know that you come from God as a teacher, for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with Him (John 3:2). However, most of the Jewish leaders were not like good rabbi Nicodemus. Many were furious with Yeshua because they understood that He was a man who was making Himself out to be God (John 10:33). It was not Yeshua's claim to be the Messiah that led to His crucifixion; it was His claim to have equality with the Father, to be God in the flesh, that outraged the religious leaders of His day. They rejected His claim of oneness with God, which led to the most dire consequences in their own lives and the life of the entire nation of Israel that has lasted to this day.

Knowing that the Trinity was hinted at in the Tenach and made clear by Messiah Yeshua demonstrates that the Old and New Testaments are in perfect agreement, and that the New Testament is the true spiritual heir of the Old Testament.

Not only was the Three-in-Oneness of God hinted at in the Tenach (the Hebrew Scriptures), and made clear by Messiah Yeshua, but His Jewish Apostles taught that Yeshua is God in human form, and therefore the Trinity is true: Even though these Jewish men were trained in the Shema (Deut. 6:4 - Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one) and the first and second commandments, they state as absolute fact that Yeshua is the source of all life (something that is only true of God - see John 1:4, 5:21, 14:6). They claim that He created all things (see John 1:3). They taught that He preceded all things; that all things were created by Him and for Him; that He upholds all things, and in Him all things hold together (Col. 1:16-17, Hebrews 1:3). They claim that in the future Yeshua will first dissolve and then remake the entire universe (something that only God can do - see Heb. 1:10-12, Phil. 3:21, Rev. 21:5). They claim that like God, Messiah Yeshua is immutable - He never changes - He is the same yesterday, today and forever (see Heb. 13:8). They taught that Yeshua has the very form of God, which means He has God's essential attributes. He possesses inwardly and displays outwardly the very essence and nature of God; Messiah Yeshua is God's equal, and possesses complete equality with God (Phil. 2:6-8). They taught that Messiah Yeshua radiates God's glory and exactly represents God's nature (Heb. 1:3). They claim that the Lord God was pleased for all His fullness to dwell in Yeshua (Col. 1:19), and that in Yeshua all the fullness of God dwells in bodily form (Col. 2:9).

These Jewish apostles taught the Tri-une nature of God by the worship Messiah Yeshua receives: It is very clear from Holy Scripture that God alone is to be worshipped. No man, woman, saint, angel, or any created being is ever to be worshipped. But these Jewish emissaries testify that since He is equal to God, Messiah Yeshua is to be worshipped by both angels and men: Let all the angels of God worship Him (Heb. 1:6). Those who were with Him in the boat worshiped Him saying, You are certainly God's Son! (Matt. 14:33). These apostles declare that throughout eternity Messiah Yeshua will be worshipped by all created beings: At the name of Yeshua every knee will bow of those who are in heaven, and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Yeshua the Messiah is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Phil. 2:10-11). To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever (Rev. 5:13).

The Tri-unity of God is seen by the titles these Jewish apostles call Him: They called Him the Savior (a title which can only apply to God - see Is. 45:21, Acts 4:12, 2 Peter 2:20). They refer to Him as the Redeemer (which properly applies to the God of Israel - see Is. 41:14, Col. 1:14, Titus 2:13-14). Like the God of Israel, Yeshua is called the First and the Last (see Isaiah 44:6, Rev. 1:17). Like Israel's God, Yeshua is the Holy One of Israel (see Isaiah 43:14, Acts 3:14). They recognized that Yeshua is the unique Son of God, the One who bears the same divine nature as His Father (see Psalm 2:7-12, Matt. 16:16, 26:61-64).

These Jewish emissaries called Yeshua "Lord" in the Brit Chadasha (New Testament) with the same frequency and regularity that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is called "Lord" in the Tenach (Hebrew Scriptures). Yes Lord, you know that I love you. Yes, Lord, I have believed that you are the Messiah, the Son of God. Lord Yeshua receive my spirit. Believe in the Lord Yeshua and you shall be saved. And the Lord said "I am Yeshua." The grace of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah be with you. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords, the Lord of all, the Lord of the living and the dead, the Lord of all who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth. These Jewish apostles are in complete agreement with the prophet Jeremiah who said that the Messiah's name ("name" means nature, essential characteristics) is "Adonai Tzidkaynu," "the Lord our Righteousness" (Jeremiah 23:5-6).

Perhaps strongest of all, these Jewish apostles claimed that Messiah Yeshua was "God": These Jewish men sent by the Master of the Universe claimed that Yeshua was eternally with God (In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God), and that He is completely, totally, and fully identified as God, and that He is in fact God (and the Word was God - see John 1:1-2). My Lord and my God declared Thomas when he saw the resurrected Yeshua (John 20:28). The apostle to the Messianic Jews writes: But of the Son He (God) says, Thy throne O God is forever and ever (Heb 1:8). In other words, God the Father acknowledged that His Son was truly God.

The apostles looked forward to the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Messiah Yeshua (Titus 2:13). These Jewish apostles are in perfect harmony with the prophet Isaiah, who wrote that the Messiah will be the son that is born to us and "El Gibor," the "Mighty God" (Isaiah 9:6-7).

One modern rabbi made this observation: "Is your master God? For now I realize only God can demand of me what Yeshua is asking. (A Rabbi Talks With Jesus, Doubleday, 1993, pp. 53-54).

The attack on the doctrine of the Trinity in the fourth century by Arius and others was aimed at this claim to Messiah Yeshua's deity and therefore the doctrine of the Trinity. During the Arian controversy many of leaders of the Church met at Nicea and adopted a statement of faith dealing with the Three-in-One nature of God. I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And I believe in one Lord, Yeshua the Messiah, the only begotten Son of God. Born of the Father before all ages, God of God, Light of Light, true God of true God. Begotten, not made, of one substance with the Father. By whom all things were made.

The Nicene Creed also declares that the Ruach HaKodesh, the Holy Spirit, is fully God, and equal to the Father and the Son: And I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. Who together with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified. For more than 1600 years this statement has stood as the final test of orthodoxy and genuine Biblical faith, for it condenses and expresses in theological language the teaching of both the Tenach and the New Testament, concerning Yeshua's divinity and the truth of God's Three-in-One nature.

How does the truth of the Trinity harmonize with the statement of Yeshua: My Father is greater than I (John 14:28)? The old theologians knew, and wrote in another creed: He is equal to His Father as touching His Godhead; He is less than the Father as touching His manhood. Since God can never become less than Himself, it was impossible for Yeshua to surrender anything of His essential deity. When God took upon Himself the nature of man, Yeshua did not become less than God. In the incarnation the Son of God added humanity (which was already made in God's image), but He did not diminish His essential deity. When Yeshua became a man He veiled His deity, but He did not void it.

God the Father, Messiah Yeshua, and the Spirit have a single will: A popular belief among some Christians divides the work of God between the Three, assigning a specific part to each One. For instance, creation is attributed to the Father, redemption to the Son, and regeneration to the Holy Spirit. But God cannot divide Himself so that the Father works while the Son doesn't. The Tri-une God always works together. The smallest act is never done by One without the instant agreement of the other Two. Every act of God is done by the Trinity in perfect unity. Don't think of the Father, the Son and the Spirit conferring with one another, huddling together like some football team. Think rather of a perfect sharing of mind, a complete oneness of will, a total unity of purpose, an infinite unified wisdom, perfect mutual understanding, taking place instantaneously and eternally.

The Tri-une God works in perfect unity in all the mighty works that are done throughout the universe. The work of creation is attributed to the Father (Gen. 1:1), and to the Son (Col. 1:16), and to the Spirit (Gen. 1:2, Psalm 33:6). The Incarnation is shown to have been accomplished by the Father and the Son and the Spirit working in one accord, although only the Messiah became flesh to dwell among us (Luke 1:35). At Messiah's tevilah (baptism) the Son came up out of the water, the Spirit descended on Him, and the Father's voice spoke from heaven (Mt. 3:16-17). The resurrection of Messiah is likewise attributed to the Father (Acts 2:32), and to the Son (John 10:17-18), and to the Holy Spirit (Rom. 1:4). One of the most beautiful descriptions of the work of atonement is found in Hebrews 9:14, where it is stated that Messiah Yeshua, through the eternal Spirit, offered Himself without blemish to God. The salvation of each individual is shown by Simon Peter to be the work of the Holy Trinity. Peter informs us that we are chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for the purpose that we may obey Messiah Yeshua (1 Pet. 1:2). Each child of God is said to be indwelt by the Three-in-One God. Messiah Yeshua promised us: I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He (the Spirit) may be with you forever... I will come to you... We (Yeshua and His Father) will come to you and make Our abode with you (John 14:15-23).

The true Messianic Community has not hesitated to teach the Tri-unity of God. Without pretending to understand this mystery, the community of saints has given its witness to this revealed truth and repeated what the Holy Scriptures teach. Just as the presence of God was in the pillar of fire by night and the cloud by day leading the people of Israel, declaring to all the world, "These are My people," so belief in the Trinity has since the days of the Apostles, shone above the true Messianic Community as she journeyed through the years. Purity and power have followed this faith. Under this banner have gone forth Jewish apostles and prophets, pastors and teachers, martyrs and songwriters, reformers and evangelists. God's approval and blessing has rested on their lives and labors. However they may have differed on minor matters, the knowledge of the Trinity bound them together. But error, heresy, apostasy and destruction have come to those who deny this Biblical truth. The mystery of the Holy Trinity. Understand it? Never! So humble your limited, finite human understanding, become like a child and simply believe what God has revealed in His Holy Scriptures about His Three-In-Oneness.

Dear Reader, I do not check emails.

If you are not saved, we have many articles here for you. Pray to God to help you to understand his simple message to you--in love he wants to redeem you from the power of Satan and sin. This word is nigh unto you. You can be saved and safe today. You do not have to wait until tomorrow. You do not have to wait for a preacher. God cares for us and he is an ever present help in the time of trouble. If you are not saved, you are in big trouble. God loves the souls that he made--even though we have done wickedly. God so loved this wicked world that he sent his all-powerful Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to die for the sins of the world. But the Lord Jesus Christ did not remain dead, he rose from the dead on the third day and stands ready right now to save your soul. Believest thou this? And another word for you, precious lamb. This is a warning for you. The hundreds of modern Bible versions are perversions of the scriptures. Many of them have the audacity to say that they are the most accurate. That is a lie. They claim to be easy to understand but I am here to tell you that you can understand the AUTHORIZED King James Bible. My daughter requested straight King James Bible reading when she was two years old and was reading it herself at three years old. You can understand the King James Bible. The Father will help you. Cursor down on this current page for articles on heaven, hell, evolution, false churches to avoid, and much more. Do not spend too much time on the internet, tear yourself away from the tv, and don't read blasphemy. Much of what is on this page is for those in sin. I do not want you to read everything that is here, be careful. I wrote these things back when I was confronted with these many errors. Pray, read your Bible, do good, and fall in love with Jesus. Cleave to the scriptures. They will keep you safe. I commit you to the love of God.
Be careful of church people and church buildings. No Roman Catholic "church" can be right because Roman Catholic doctrines are not right. They directly contradict the scriptures. The Roman Catholic religion teaches multitudes to pray to "Mary" instead of in the name of Jesus. It calls its Mary "the Queen of Heaven". In Jeremiah chapters 7 and 44, the Queen of Heaven is revealed to be a devil. The Roman Catholic institution says that our precious Lord Jesus is turned into a little cracker (the eucharist) when the priest speaks certain words at the "mass". This is a very great blasphemy. Many Catholics possess and pray to little statue idols that they call "saints" when the Bible says do not make unto thyself any graven image (Exodus 20:4). They light candles for the dead, bow before relics (e.g., a dead man's finger) and believe in a fictional purgatory that they try to pay their way out of--more money for the coffers of the "church". Their leaders have deceived them and are making merchandise of them. The love of money is the root of all evil. There are many heresies that Catholics are taught to believe but if they will only decide that the word of God is true, they can come out of these deceptions in an instant. If you are a former Roman Catholic, you are familiar with the Romish rituals. You must never return to those unclean things. Get rid of all traces of Romanism in your life-- including the rosary which is used for what our Lord Jesus Christ called, "vain repetition" (Matthew 6:7).
But I would not have you ignorant. The Roman Catholic institution is not the only apostate church--but she does have a special status. She is the mother of them all--Revelation 17:5 calls her MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH (cursor down this link to see Revelation 17:3-6 and photographs showing how she fulfills it). The Bible also calls her the great whore (Rev 17:1; 19:2). As a whore, she has MANY children. And since she is a whore, you do not know who the fathers are of these various bastard children ("bastard" is a Bible word e.g. Heb 12:8). You just see the hordes of false churches with their hierarchal systems. Instead of a pope they have a superstar pastor at the top with all kinds of departments below him (some churches even have investment counsellors). They meet in fancy church buildings and offer endless programs and activities to keep their members busy and entertained. When we look closely at these churches we find that heresies abound across the board--whether Lutheran, Methodist, Baptist, Greek Orthodox, "Jehovah's" Witness, Calvinist, et al. Be ware, dear one, be ware. Do not jump at the chance to be called by any other name but what the Bible calls you--Christian, saint, disciple, etc. Calvin was not crucified for me. I would never call myself a Calvinist, a Baptist or any such thing. Do not follow man and his traditions. Follow the scriptures.
I know that I am putting a lot of information on you here, but you must be warned. You will understand in time. The Bible says that there will be a great falling away of the church at the end of time before Jesus comes back. We have already entered this falling away. The visible church has fallen away from the scriptures and many who call themselves Christians are actually unwitting agents of the spirit of antichrist as they teach their false doctrines to other people. Perilous times have come, but fear not, little one, for greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world (ref. I John 4:4). Your safety is in reading the word of God so that you can know the truth for yourself--and the truth shall make you free. The Lord may be preparing someone right now to hold on to your hand. But even then, you will examine that person and their teachings based on the word of God--that includes me and my writings on this website. However things work out for you, the Lord Jesus will personally be there with you until the end of the world (Matthew 28:20). Goodbye for now, dear one.
For disciples-- Read your Authorized King James Bible diligently and obey it. Ask God to show you the old paths (Jeremiah 6:16)--the old way of living and worshipping God. Look for the old ways--Father working, Mother cooking, cleaning and caring for the children. You will find rest for your soul and a whole new world will be opened to you. You will be changed at your root. Let the hearts of the fathers be turned to the children and the hearts of the children be turned to their fathers. Sanctified parents, go retrieve your children from the school system and the playground and teach them and train them yourself at home.
Print out and bind your own Authorized King James Bibles, Pure Cambridge Edition. Heathens have been tampering with the Authorized King James Bible, incorporating alterations and adding all kinds of abomnations (e.g., "study aids," commentaries, illustrations, cartoon pictures, geneaological record sheets, etc.) to the text. In America, we have almost completely lost our manhood and womanhood. Our deceptions are great but the word of God will deliver us if carefully applied to our lives. God made man to rule the world. Man was destined for greatness. May the men reading this understand that they are the image and glory of God. Repent of your sins, hide the word of God in your heart and rise to who you were made to be. Get out of debt (including your house note/mortgage) for the borrower is servant to the lender (Proverbs 22:7). America is a nation of servant-serfs and we are about to pay an even greater price than we already have for our carelessness and gullibility.
Woman, clean your house and teach your children at home from the Authorized (King James) Version of the holy scriptures. The Authorised Version gives the foundations/rudiments of everything in all of creation and every subject to be studied--Language Arts, Geography, Counting & Mathematics (e.g., Geometry), History, Botany, Law, Economics, Science (e.g., Chemistry)--everything. Embrace Genesis 1:1 - 2:7 as your outline--read it to your child regularly until you both have a good understanding of it. By God's grace and almighty power, babies can (as a matter of course) read while they are still in diapers. Two year olds can praise God and his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Three year olds can read the Authorised Version of the scriptures. Four year olds can learn cursive writing. Five year olds can expound the word of God. Little children can exercise Biblical discernment and be wise. They can choose righteousness because they can see and feel its excellencies for themselves. I'm not perfect, but can't we at least try to rise up and set our expectations higher as we lift up God's word in the education of our children? Let us turn our hearts back towards home instead of constantly on the distant mission field.
WARNING TO CHRISTIANS-- The American school system (public, private, and "Christian") is dangerous. Combine this with the television and you will understand why the children are turning out deficient and full of problems--physical, mental, and spiritual. There are reasons the school system is failing and turning out sots (dull heads), rebels, whoremongers, and freaks--it is by design. Americans were once a strong, independent, rugged, innovative, productive, freedom-loving people. But now look, we are at the bottom of the barrel dependent on someone else for every morsel of food that we eat--let the grocery stores close down and see what happens across this land. Through "progressive" education (progressing towards what?) we have been turned inside out. Americans were in an uproar when the progressives first tried to implement compulsory schooling at the turn of the twentieth century. But now look. We kick our children out the door at five years old (and earlier if Mother works) into "kindergarten". Christians did not belong in the school system in the first place (Deu 6:6-9)--may the true disciples bail out of that sinking ship and exchange it for a sanctified homeschool under a Biblical Scholarship.
Beware to ALL Christian peoples all over the whole world on every continent and on every island! That includes those that live on houseboats! You aspire to the American model in so many ways--lifestyle, education, clothing styles, church organization and doctrines, maybe even a small family size, etc.--I urge you to repent of this aspiration. We Americans can quickly quench the Spirit with our tracts, suits and ties, and programs. You do not have to imitate us nor should you. Do not rush out to our seminaries and colleges. We've bought the lie that college degrees are important. Our Lord never learned letters (John 7:15). In the American church, we've replaced the anointing with Bible college. You do not have to go to Bible college to know God or to know how to conduct a proper church meeting (ref. I Cor 14:26). Beware of our American missionaries, their teachings, their scripture translations, and the technologies they may want to introduce to "increase productivity" in your village. If they bring you seeds, ask questions about those seeds. Better yet, only use your own native food and seeds. Even the seeds in America are being corrupted through false science. Americans are oblivious as to what is happening. If you homeschool don't blindly follow our various "Christian" homeschool curricula for they are just warmed-over worldly scholarship sprinkled with a few Bible verses! The American system is death! This warning comes from one with a college degree (I destroyed that piece of paper)! Don't give up your ox for a tractor machine! Don't give up the old ways! Keep your dairy goat and your hens. Go back in time and figure out how your forefathers did things! Get your hand tools and live a real and simple life--it is inexpensive and your children will love it. The American model is a trap!
And if you watch that filthy trance medium called tv, shame on you! You cannot have a sanctified home if you are not sanctified! Are you a Christian or not? Come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the UNCLEAN thing; and I will receive you (II Cor 6:17). The designer clothes, the mortgage on the big house, the credit cards, the Kraft grocery store food, endless sweets (we are addicted to sugar), fast food, fancy restaurants, resorts, amusements, cable tv, car notes, video games, spa memberships, ad nauseum--if we had listened to the scriptures, Christians would not have gotten entangled! They would have remained separate from this net. If the preachers had preached the word and lived right, they would have warned us. But no, by and large, they were blind and ignorant. They were dumb dogs that could not bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. They were greedy dogs which could never have enough, and they were shepherds that could not understand: they all looked to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter (ref. Is 56:10-11). Today, instead of warning us and giving us good teaching and instruction to get out of this calamity, they have their game nights, plays, "watermelon Sundays", morning service, evening service, mid-week service, men's Bible study, women's Bible study, youth group meetings, special services, retreats, "revivals", etc. And a great number of these false teachers have turned the church building into a brothel! They join in marriage divorced persons who have living spouses--in direct contradiction to the scriptures (Matthew 5:31-32, Matt 19:9, fornication defined as in Deu 22:14, 20). This is adultery. "Christians" are laying up in the bed naked with people who are not their spouses! And then when the adulterers have children of whoredom, the preacher smiles and holds a "baby dedication" during the church service!

Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

Many of these ungodly men are adulterers themselves. One may have a living wife and is now shacking up with a concubine that he calls "wife". For another, maybe his woman has a husband roaming the earth while she is in the bed with the preacher! Sometimes both the preacher and his wife have spouses! Some of these ungodly shepherds take their churches to the movie theatre and broadway plays! And they are so comatose that they can't even tell us to rest on the seventh day of the week like God did! This is no plug for the Seventh Day Adventist cult founded by false prophetess Ellen White. (SDAs need to get out of that false belief system.) This is a call for the restoration of the sabbath day in the lives of Christians, a gift from God made for man (Mark 2:27). I call it my weekly vacation! The sabbath is the day that God rested from his labours, after he finished creating heaven and earth. It is the seventh day. In Genesis 2:3, God specifically blessed the SEVENTH day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. The sabbath will NEVER, EVER EVER be on the first day of the week! Sunday is not the sabbath. It never was, never could be, and never will be the sabbath (this does not mean go to the Seventh Day Adventist cult). Our IGNORANCE of the scriptures (especially the Old Testament) has us going along with the dumb dogs for years on end! Our LEADERS cause us to err! They preach on the latest news and tv shows but can't tell me how to rest! Just how to go to "church" four or five times a week! God had to find me down here and tell me the truth! REMEMBER the sabbath day to keep it HOLY (Ex 20:8)! Not buying and selling like a disobedient Israel! Turn away thy foot from the sabbath doing THY pleasure on GOD'S holy day (ref. Isaiah 58:13-14)! Let God slough this putrifying fleshly mess off of us! And if your preacher is not right, leave his church building! Don't go back. We ARE the church. Leaving a building is not leaving the church.
The American situation is dire and serious as was powerfully foretold by Samuel Breese Morse in 1835 (you may want to skip down to page 11.) and William Hogan in 1854, but the answer is very simple. Pray and ask God to help you return to the old paths. If you know how to fast, do that too. The old paths are only a step away. Get your children out of the school system and teach them yourself. Parents have been doing that for millenia with no help from the government. With God's word as your textbook, you can have a sanctified homeschool that comes behind NO worldly school. In fact, as you bask in the blessing and richness of a Biblical Scholarship, you and your scholar will see how foolish, inane, criminal, and irrelevant the world's schools are. Equipped with the outline of Genesis 1:1-2:7 (taking heed to God's classifications), the scriptures will take the anointed teacher on a thrilling exploration of all things in heaven and in earth and give him the way to neatly classify all things (of a truth, only the Authorized (King James) Version will work with this). The outline of Genesis 1:1-2:7 can be taught to a four year old. This passage of scripture actually prepares your (and your child's) mental filing cabinet to be able to automatically classify all things. This is a critical need in a world inundated with ever-increasing amounts of new information and technologies. You and your scholar will not be overwhelmed by this incessant flow of information--instead you will be able to instantly classify it. And not only that, you will be able to tell whether it is good or evil... In a sanctified home, you don't watch tv and you don't look on the internet for some new news on the latest blasphemies-you ignore what the world is doing (my own child cannot even get on this website without special permission--I use it only as a reference tool, and that is rare indeed. This website is for those who are still trapped in filth so they can escape and be free.), you have your own kind of life independent from their filthy traps and snares. You live a holy, sanctified life lived simply and without much fanfare as you read your Authorized King James Bible and live in the simplicity that is found in Christ Jesus (ref. II Cor 1:12; 11:3). Meanwhile you will find that your school is above and not beneath any worldly school. You will see that it is the head and not the tail. At this hour, I find that I am full of warnings. Even unbelievers can feel the danger--more so than professed Christians. THERE IS NO "PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE" as preached in the false church (ref. Mark 13, 2 Thessalonians 1:7-12 through 2:3)
The man of sin is coming (ref. II Thes. 2:3). And by policy he shall cause craft to prosper (ref. Dan. 8:25). Today, under the guise of diversity/multiculturalism/tolerance, room is made for any antichristian force (Roman Catholic, Islamic, sodomite, etc.) to (1) rise up to the surface of society from the underground, (2) be confirmed that their error is legitimate, and (3) demand and receive special protective status for their antichrist stance. Anyone who challenges the validity of their belief system is criminalized (e.g., labelled "anti-Catholic," or "anti-Semitic"). Anyone who ignores them or does not acknowledge their special status is criminalized--including businesses. One Michigan business had to pay a $5,000 fine for not printing up sodomite materials. Ordinary people are pressured and harassed--upon penalty of fine or jail--to put their beliefs to the side and to quietly accept and minister to what they do not agree with.
The mainstream of American society has held certain beliefs that have recently been criminalized--for instance, Americans have always been against sodomy. It was once outlawed in all 50 states. Now look around. Sodomites are parading in the streets and making all kinds of demands on American society. Early Americans knew the wiles of the papacy--Catholics could not be politicians in the early days. Now look. Say anything about Rome's history and you are called, "Anti-Catholic." Those that do not accept all antichrist groups are berated, fired, sued, and/or jailed for breaking the law of "tolerance". This makes for a fearful American population because nobody wants to be sued or be fired. The loss of a job is a frightening prospect for most people because without a job we have no money, no home, no food, no water, no flushable toilet. Most people are packed into cities and suburbs like rats with rent, mortgages, property taxes, and grocery expenses (they do not know how to grow or forage for their own food)--they need money. People are scared and frightened into silence by (1) the threat of being called, "anti-Catholic," "anti-Semite," or part of a "hate group" even though they hate no one and by (2) the threat of discrimination laws that are bellowed out over and over again by a small pack of wild dogs consisting of groups like the ACLU, officials, academics, writers, reporters, educators, social engineers/change agents, activists, clerics, Congressmen, etc. and by (3) the threat of losing their jobs--fearful business owners try to adhere to ridiculous regulations requiring them to enforce "anti-discrimination" laws. These businesses will fire anybody who does not keep quiet during diversity/sodomite/sensitivity/etc. training. Popish persons, sodomites, witches, the ACLU, and others cry out for tolerance and peace, but war is in their heart--

Psalms 55:21 The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.

For all their words about tolerance, they don't seem to tolerate anyone who disagrees with them and will attack through litigation and whatever other means they choose.
And remember this--no matter what abomination you are looking at, never forget the Mother and her teaching Jesuits. The Bible teaches that there is a fountain from whence all these evils spring (ref. Rev. 17:5). Our forefathers, including King James, knew this and wrote about it extensively. As the late Dr. Alberto Rivera (a former Roman Catholic Jesuit priest) stated, there is only one conspiracy and one conspirator. The Bible calls her MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH (ref. Rev. 17:5). Notice that she is THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Today, "tolerance" is ostensibly about peace, but it is actually about war. People who proclaim it are amongst the most intolerant people that you can find on the face of the earth. They censor anything that they do not want to hear. They are totally intolerant of John 14:6. And this hatred that they possess under the mask of "tolerance" will escalate into an all out war against the saints (ref. Rev. 13:7). All the fake ministry claims of "taking the world for Christ" are just that--fake. It is not going to happen. The ball is rolling and the coming of the Lord draweth nigh; but first we have to go through some deep waters. Prepare yourself, fellowsoldier.

Genetically, they are even taking away the mothering instinct in chickens. They do not want you to raise your own. When some honest scientists have revealed that GMO food is dangerous they have been released from their positions. Is bottled water really 100% spring water? See this video. And what happens to all those plastic bottles and the ubiquitous plastic wraps and bowls and other products? In gyres in the ocean, floating plastic pieces can outnumber krill 10:1 and plankton 6:1. See this video. How are the animals supposed to eat? Their guts are filling up with plastic! It does not break down. I recoil from plastic and what plastic I do get from packaging, I reuse it where practicable and collect it for recycling. On another note, have you ever wondered how the microwave heats when there is no fire in it? One day I thought about it and learned how microwaving causes physiological changes to the blood. That food in the grocery store just looks good--some of it, like margarine--even animals will not eat (e.g., the dog won't drink powdered milk but will drink regular and canned milk). After a spreadable margarine product turned into what looked and smelled car oil (it burned on my stove), I stopped using it. By God's appointment I soon found out that margarine is a synthetic food...White flour has to be "enriched" because the most nutritious part of it, the germ of the seed, has been ripped out so that it will have a longer shelf life. Manufacturers pour lab "nutrients" into the flour and call it "enriched" instead of "stripped". For my part, we have been learning to grow and forage for our own food, and it has been a liberating experience. The woods is the future of the saints. Revelation 13 drove me to understand the world around me. And in the process of this fascinating exploration, we have found a different sort of life...
The world situation is heavy and oppressive and it is only growing worse by the moment. It is almost time for the beast to appear (see Rev. 13). If you belong to God through his Son Jesus Christ, turn your morning prayer into a morning oblation (an offering of your time and yourself and your prayers). Sacrifice a little sleep and get up earlier than usual so that you have some uninterrupted time to spend with God during this emergency situation. I like to present myself in the stillness and quietness of darkness. Think about the main things on your mind as you rise and go to the place of prayer. Tell God what you know, what you need, what your concerns are, pray for his church, pray for the unsaved, pray that evil be hindered and righteousness be loosed, rehearse your God-given dreams and visions before him, magnify him, and pray to him in the name of his holy child, Jesus. Meanwhile, your enemies will be greatly abased in your eyes and appear as they are--deceived and deceiving agents of the devil. I find that during the morning oblation I go from scared to bold. The morning oblation is not a one time oblation, it is a daily offering. We need strength and anointing everyday. The oppressed, the free, the saved, and the unsaved of this earth need our prayers everyday. Males and females need our prayers. Young and old need our prayers. Black and white and all other colors of people need our prayers. I ask God to send forth anointed labourers, to save people, and to secure and establish them in the faith of Jesus Christ helping them to endure to the end. The morning oblation is not a dried up time, it is rich. The Father will help his children to pray and express themselves. I like to take a little time and think about what I want to say before I begin to pray. God will help you to praise him and magnify him and his word. In my experience, he will answer you out of your own mouth and even during the remainder of the day as you go about your business. A pressure release occurs during the morning oblation. If you don't know how to fast, read the scriptures, pray, and start small--maybe going without a single meal. But I will warn you, it is better NOT to vow a vow unto God than to vow and not pay. In Matthew 9:15, the Lord Jesus said that his disciples would fast. He also revealed that certain spiritual victories are only achieved through fasting and prayer (Matt 17:21, Mark 9:29).

In the public schools, however, there IS a reluctance to teach a lot of history.

Examples: I taught in an inner-city school. I was teaching the Latino and black students about this very topic, the uprisings and various other forms of struggles of slaves in the USA, as well as tracing them back to Africa and teaching about those cultures.

The principal was black and liked what I was doing. One white teacher, however, advised me not to teach about any of that material, because "they'll end up hating us". I said wouldn't they hate us worse for withholding information? But, of course, people are thinking immediately that this is an "agenda" and I should concentrate on math and reading, right?

Another time I was teaching a class about the Iroquois Peacemaker, the history of the Iroquois League, and its influence on USA government structure and the founding fathers, and teachers in a VERY liberal school were getting upset. They were standing in the doorway spying on me as I taught. They were very NERVOUS about this lesson, based on Native culture and history. They liked a patronizing approach to Natives which lamented their treatment and paid some token acknowledgement to their culture (look at the pretty beadwork!), but this historical lesson and my subsequent use of it as an anti-violence teaching tool (bury the hatchet and all that), SCARED them.

I think the mainstream media also has a fear of presenting history other than USA military victories, or the usual hackneyed "multicultural" stuff (Underground RR, etc.).

But the material is all there in the universities and needs to be more widely disseminated to lay people.

decrying “the altar of Zionism” and saying that the September 11th attacks were orchestrated by elements within
the US government in order “to reverse the declining American economy and its grips on the Middle East in order also

Ahmadinejad’s anti-Zionist remarks were a significant component of his speech, in which he asserted that the era of capitalism
is over due in no small part to attitudes and beliefs and the “global management and ruling structures.”

The Iranian President said that with the advent of atheism and egoism, “Man’s disconnection from Heaven detached him
from his true self.” Ahmadinejad attributed the historic development of colonialism as a whole to humanity's betrayal of monotheism.

In speaking about the world’s current governance, Ahmadinejad referenced September 11th, 2001’s attacks on the World Trade Center
as the starting point for a “propaganda machine” that “implied that the whole world was exposed to a huge danger, namely terrorism,
and that the only way to save the world would be to deploy forces into Afghanistan.”

“It was said that some three thousand people were killed on the 11 September, for which we are all very saddened,” Ahmadinejad said.
“Yet, up until now, in Afghanistan and Iraq, hundreds of thousands of people have been killed, millions wounded and displaced and the
conflict is still going on and expanding.”

Ahmadinejad said there were “three viewpoints” in identifying those responsible for the September 11th attacks. The main viewpoint, he said,
“advocated by American statesmen,” is that “a very powerful and complex terrorist group, able to successfully cross all layers of the American
intelligence and security, carried out the attack.”

The second viewpoint – which Ahmadinejad called the viewpoint of “the majority of the American people as well as other nations and politicians” –
was “that some segments within the US government orchestrated the attack in order to reverse the declining American economy and its grips
on the Middle East in order also to save the Zionist regime.”

Finally, he said, some believe September 11th “was carried out by a terrorist group but the American government supported and took advantage
of the situation.” He conceded that “this viewpoint has fewer proponents.”

Ahmadinejad announced that, in light of this professed ambiguity as to the culpable parties, Iran will host a conference “to study terrorism and the
means to confront it.” He also suggested that the UN set up a fact-finding group for September 11th.

Ahmadinejad continued on to decry “the Zionists.”

“The Zionists have imposed five all-out wars on the neighboring countries and on the Palestinian people,” he said, also accusing “the Zionists”
and ‘the Zionist regime” of committing crimes against defenseless civilians in wars in Lebanon and Gaza, as well as attacking “a humanitarian flotilla.”

“This regime which enjoys the absolute support of some Western countries regularly threatens the countries in the region and continues publicly
announced assassination of Palestinian figures and others, while Palestinian defenders and those opposing this regime are pressured, labeled
as terrorists and anti-Semites.”

“All values, even the freedom of expression in Europe and in the United States, are being sacrificed at the altar of Zionism,” Ahmadinejad said.

Ahmadinejad proposed “the return of the Palestinian refugees to their homeland and the reference to the vote of the people of Palestine to exercise
their sovereignty and decide on the type of governance.”

Ahmadinejad then turned his attention to the discussion of nuclear energy, which he called “clean and cheap and a heavenly gift which is amongst the
most suitable alternatives to cut the pollutions emanating from fossil fuels.”

He decried nuclear weaponry, saying that Security Council members “have equated nuclear energy with the nuclear bomb, and have distanced this energy
from the reach of most of nations by establishing monopolies and pressuring the IAEA, while at the same time, they have continued to maintain, expand
and upgrade their own nuclear arsenals.”

“Not only the nuclear disarmament has not been realized [sic] but also nuclear bombs have been proliferated in some regions, including by the
occupying and intimidating Zionist regime,” Ahmadinejad added, proposing that the year 2011 be proclaimed a year of nuclear disarmament,
with “nuclear energy for all, nuclear weapons for none.”

Ahmadinejad then went on to denounce the structure of the UN, including the Security Council veto.

“The veto advantage grants impunity to aggression and occupation,” Ahmadinejad said. “How could, therefore, one expect competence while both
the judge and the prosecutor are a party to the dispute? Had Iran enjoyed veto privilege, would the Security Council and the IAEA Director General
have taken the same position in the nuclear issue?”

Ahmadinejad suggested revoking the veto privilege and making the General Assembly the “highest body” of the organization.

Calling “occupation of other countries under the pretext of freedom and democracy” an “unforgivable crime,” Ahmadinejad said
“the world needs the logic of compassion and justice and inclusive participation instead of the logic of force, domination, unilateralism, war and intimidation.”

Iran, he said, has “observed the regulations of the IAEA,” yet has “never submitted to illegally imposed pressures, nor will we ever do so.”

“Those who have used intimidation and sanctions in response to the clear logic of the Iranian nation are in real terms destroying the remaining credibility
of the Security Council and the trust of nations for this body, proving once and again how unjust is the function of the Council,” Ahmadinejad said.

“We have announced that we stand ready for a serious and free debate with the American Statesmen [sic] to express our transparent views on issues
of importance ot the world in this very venue,” Ahmadinejad said, proposing an annual free debate in the General Assembly.

The King James Only Controversy:
Can You Trust the Modern Translations?
A Critique of James R. White's Book

Justification by faith was the birth cry of the Protestant Reformation. The essential word for men like Luther was faith, which has its roots and life in the living word of God (Romans 10:17). Today, however, the essential word seems to be justification. Men seek to justify their actions and systems of belief, often at the cost of truth and consistency.

Those who believe the King James Bible to be the preserved word of God for the English speaking people will find no friend in the writings of James R. White and his recent book, "The King James Only Controversy: Can You Trust the Modern Translations?" (Bethany House Publishers 1995). White seeks to justify the use of modern versions such as the NIV and NASV while attacking those who hold to the Authorized Version as the word of God.

It would take a volume to answer all White's objections to the King James Bible and those who believe it. Those criticisms have all been addressed in the writings of those White opposes. However, some points of justification require further examination. The number of contradictions, straw man arguments, and false information is astounding. So are the number of endorsements his book has received by those who view it as "scholarly and accurate," as quoted by Dr. Bruce Metzger, editor of the United Bible Society's Greek text (the basic text for the NIV and TEV). Such endorsements are understandable considering supporters are themselves translators and editors of modern Greek texts.

The real issue is never fully addressed in White's book. In defending modern versions and attacking the Authorized Version, White gives the same old arguments: better texts, the difficulty in translation from one language to another, textural problems in the Textus Receptus (TR, the basic Greek text which underlined the Authorized Version of 1611), errors of the King James Bible, differing editions of the KJV, and the attitudes of those who support it. For example, he makes light of KJV only groups, stating they believe the KJV was "delivered to us via angelic messenger" (pp. 118-119). He boldly declares in one footnote:

We have heard of small groups that go even further, claiming that the KJV was written in eternity, and that Abraham and Moses and the prophets all read the 1611 KJV, including the New Testament! (p. 6)

White's speculations are not scholarly, but merely ridicule and hearsay.

CONTRADICTIONS
Self contradiction seems to be a theme in his book. White states that time should be spent by pastors helping the sick and not defending text types and translations (introduction, p. IV), but then concludes that the Bible "requires us to study its history and the reasons for our trust in its veracity and accuracy" (introduction, p. VI). Apparently, White feels the KJV issue worthy of attention as he has just published a 286 page book on this issue, written a pamphlet entitled "New Age Bible Versions Refuted" in response to Gail Riplinger's book on the subject, and has debated Riplinger twice and author Dr. D.A. Waite on this issue.

In a series of contradictions, White cites several of Dr. Peter S. Ruckman's books, stating that "charges of blasphemy, heresy and even stupidity, fly thick from some elements of the KJV Only movement" (introduction, p. V). Yet, on the same page he says, "The KJV Only controversy feeds upon the ignorance among Christians regarding the origin, transmission, and translation of the Bible." According to White, this view causes conservative Christians to be viewed as "backwards" (introduction, p. VII). Further, KJV only groups are "an 'opening' through which cultic groups often enter into the thinking of the unsuspecting believer" (p. 27). White sends a mixed message that it is wrong to use words such as "heresy" and "stupidity" by supporters of the KJV, but condones the labels of "ignorance," "backwards," and "cultic" for advocates of the Authorized Version.

Another of White's discrepancies depicts those in the King James only movement opposing the use of Greek and Hebrew. White states (pp. 55-56):

Recently I mentioned to a KJV Only advocate that I was teaching both Greek and Hebrew classes. He asked me what percentage of Christians today know Greek or Hebrew. I answered that it is a very small number, to which he replied 'Good.' No need to waste time with such things anyway, since you have God's words in the AV 1611.

Later he admits the Greek Textus Receptus is "...used today by nearly all KJV Only advocates..." (p. 63). How can KJV only advocates hate NT Greek and use the Greek TR at the same time? Every Bible college that believes the King James Bible to be the preserved word of God teaches New Testament Greek.

White illustrates inconsistency in several other places throughout his book.

Chapter two gives a discourse of "New and Improved," noting this phrase comes from advertisers who are "not the most honest people in the world" (p. 9). While the beginning almost reads like a KJV only book against new versions, the chapter quickly changes to criticism of the KJV only movement as die hard traditionalism.

Were homosexuals on the NIV translation committee? White emphatically denies this inquiry (p. 245) but then points out that Virginia Mollenkott was used as a consultant on matters of English style because "she had the reputation of being a committed evangelical Christian with expertise in contemporary English idiom and usage. Nothing was known of her lesbian views." (pp. 245-246)

White claims he is a "biblical conservative" (introduction, p. VII) and believes the Bible is the inerrant word of God. Yet he states, "To err is human" (p. 36). His point that the translators of the KJV were human and subject to error is the same argument the liberal scholar uses about the issue of Biblical inerrancy.

STRAW MAN ARGUMENTS
In the same vein, White builds a series of straw man arguments in order to prove his point. He uses the equation (p. 3), "The King James Bible Alone = the Word of God Alone," to state the view of the KJV only movement. This equation is given without any quotation to support it, and assumes that only the King James Bible is the word of God. The logical implication is that those who hold to this view do not believe any other country has the word of God unless they speak English, or that until 1611 the word of God was lost. Most KJV advocates believe the King James Bible to be God's preserved words for the English speaking people - not the whole world as White suggests (p. 3). King James supporters also recognize the history of the scriptures throughout the church age and show different times in history where the word of God existed before 1611.

Again, White states of the TR:

Anyone who believes the TR to be infallible must believe that Erasmus, and the other men who later edited the same text in their own editions (Stephanus and Beza), were somehow 'inspired,' or at the very least 'providentially guided' in their work. Yet, none of these men ever claimed such inspiration. (p. 58)

First of all, who believes these men were inspired by God in the same sense the Old and New Testament writers were inspired? White assumes the KJV advocate believes this, and then expresses that men like Erasmus "never claimed to be inspired." Secondly, White quotes Dr. Edwin Palmer of the NIV translation committee as saying, "John 1:18, as inspired by the Holy Spirit...declare(s) that Jesus is God" (p. 103). Because the KJV has a different rendering here, Dr. Palmer calls the KJV and its Greek texts "inferior" and his Greek text "inspired". If a KJV advocate had used such wording concerning the TR, White would have objected.

White points to Dr. Ruckman as evidence that the KJV only movement sees the Authorized Version as a form of advanced revelation superior to the originals.

His arguments represent the extreme of the KJV Only position. We have already noted his statements regarding the perfection of the KJV, even to the point of asserting that the Greek and Hebrew manuscripts should be changed to fit the AV 1611, since even mistakes in the AV 1611 are 'advanced revelation.' (p. 109)

This is another example of Mr. White not doing his homework. It is common to refer to the Greek texts of modern versions as "the original." Since Dr. Ruckman sees these texts as corrupt, he often makes light of them by stating the KJV should be used to correct them. He is not claiming the KJV should be used to correct the authors of the Old and New Testaments, but that the KJV should be used to correct the writings of modern textural critics. As to the superiority of the KJV to the true originals, Ruckman only points out that the originals would serve little purpose to the common English reader since he could not read them but could read his English KJV. Even modern scholars recognize this. Luther A. Weigle quotes Sir Frederic Kenyon, who stated in 1936, "It is the simple truth that, as literature, the English Authorized Version is superior to the original Greek" ["The New Oxford Annotated Bible With the Apocryphia (Revised Standard Version)," Oxford University Press 1977, p. 1553]. Neither Kenyon, Weigle, nor the committee for the Oxford study Bible could be called followers of Dr. Ruckman or part of the KJV only group, although they did recognize how the KJV was superior to the original Greek. Perhaps White will target these men in his next book on the subject.

A curious example is given at the beginning of the introduction about a Christian bookstore sales clerk who is approached by a KJV only advocate asking for a "real Bible." Does this sort of thing happen? Yes it does. But what about the believer who goes into a Christian bookstore and is pressured to get a NIV or NASV? What about the Christian who tries to pick up a book on modern cults or Christian theology and is told how his KJV has errors in it? Or the Christian looking for a Bible who is told the only difference between the KJV and modern versions is that today's translations have removed all the old English of the KJV such as the "Thee's" and "Thou's," only to find whole verses missing and conflicting translation of some verses. While there are militant KJV advocates, there are also militant promoters of modern versions. Most Christians are neither. Contrary to White's implication, the vast majority of those who attend churches where the Authorized Version is used exclusively, and who believe it to be God's word, do not make the issue of modern textual criticism and Bible translations the central issue in their Christian walk. Most are content to read and believe the Bible they have without altercation and most Christians, both users of modern translations and KJV advocates, are more concerned with living the Bible then defending it.

White insists that modern versions are better because they are more understandable. To illustrate he uses two foreign phrases, in reality idioms, to make his case (p. 23). "The French have a saying that goes, 'J'ai le cafard.'" The literal translation would be, "I have a cockroach," but the understood meaning is, "I am depressed," or "I have the blues." He also uses the example of the German phrase "Morgenstund' hat Gold im Mund'," which means, "Morning hours have gold in the mouth," or to fit our English expression, "The early bird catches the worm." These examples allegedly show why dynamic equivalent translations such as the NIV are "better" than a literal translation such as the KJV. The scriptural reference he gives comes from Luke 9:44 which reads, "Let these sayings sink down into your ears" (KJV), as opposed to "Listen carefully to what I am about to tell you" (NIV).

The dynamic equivalent translation discards the doctrine of the preservation of God's words and promotes thought-for-thought translation instead. One could argue the accuracy of such a translation and the fear of whose thoughts are being related in the process. The point is two fold. One, there are few idiomatic expressions in scripture to justify the use of thought translations. Two, the very example White uses proves the point. For the English reader, is the phrase, "Let these sayings sink down into your ears" as difficult to comprehend as the connotation of the French idiom, "I have the cockroach"? Surely, White could have provided us with a better example.

A few favorite instances of White's straw man are where he tries to convince the reader that if men like Hills or Erasmus or even the KJV translators themselves were alive today, they would agree with White. This is speaking for the dead.

"I can say with confidence that if Desiderius Erasmus were alive today he would not be an advocate of the AV 1611" (p. 60). How does White know this? Has he been speaking with Erasmus lately?

"Dr. Hills' [sic] honesty is a breath of fresh air. If he had not begun with the assumption of the superiority of the TR, he would undoubtedly have been led to a conclusion in favor, at the very least, of the 'Majority Text' rather than the modern critical texts" (p. 93). Really? Then why did he not do so?

The following is perhaps the best. In reference to 2 Corinthians 2:17, the KJV translates the Greek word "kapeleunontes" as "corrupt" instead of "peddle" as the New King James Version does. "Surely if the KJV translators were alive today", states White, "they would gladly admit that 'peddle' is a better translation than 'corrupt,' and would adopt it themselves" (p. 114). This is foolishness. There were peddlers in 1611, but they chose "corrupt" because they felt it was the better translation. No amount of speaking for the dead will change that fact.

White also argues the point of freedom. While stating that "..if people wish to use the KJV, they should feel free to do so" (p. 5), he claims KJV advocates do not grant this same freedom to others using modern versions. Here, White has confused conviction for the Authorized Version with confinement to the Authorized Version. Of course the KJV advocate will sound more dogmatic. He is speaking from the conviction that he has a perfect Bible. However, this conviction does not confine others and people are free to use whatever translation they wish to use. The translators of the NIV wrote in the preface, "Like all translations of the Bible, made as they are by imperfect man, this one undoubtedly falls short of its goals." The KJV advocate agrees that the NIV and all other modern versions are imperfect and fall short. Still, anyone is free to read and believe them.

The translators of the KJV are the focus of White's book in chapter four. "The KJV translators were not infallible human beings," White points out. "Some, in fact, may have harbored less than perfect motivations for their work" (p. 70). No one claims the KJV translators, or even the original writers, were infallible. It is the word of God that is infallible, not men. God can use fallible men to produce an infallible book . Also, White is very vague in his statement. What is meant by "may have"? Where is the proof of such a statement? The only "evidence" White offers is a footnote where William Barlow, the head of the translators at Westminster, is quoted as saying the king of England was "sacred by holy unction" (p.88). This quote is cited from Gustavus S. Paine's book, "The Men Behind the King James Version" (Baker Book House 1959, p. 43). Paine does not suggest on that page that Barlow or any of the other translators had any motives less than pure. Instead he says, "About kings and queens, Barlow was always sound," and that "King James greatly approved of him." Where is the imperfect motivation and who are the "some"?

Although White points out the fine work Gustavus Paine did on the translators of the KJV, he overlooked Paine's conclusion:

Though we may challenge the idea of word-by-word inspiration, we surely must conclude that these were men able, in their profound moods, to transcend their human limits. In their own words, they spake as no other men spake because they were filled with the Holy Ghost. Or, in the clumsier language of our time, they so adjusted themselves to each other and to the work as to achieve a unique coordination and balance, functioning thereafter as an organic entity--no mere mechanism equal to the sum of its parts, but a whole greater than all of them. ("The Men Behind the King James Version," p. 173)

White then proclaims that the translators were Anglicans, like Westcott and Hort, and believed in baby sprinkling (p. 71). Actually, the translators were Anglicans and Puritan. As for believing in baby sprinkling, he forgot to mention that the translators were more concerned with producing God's word for the English speaking people then they were in their church's doctrine. In the original preface to the KJV the translators wrote, "If we be the sons of the truth we must consider what it speaketh and trample upon our own credit, yea and upon other men's too."

White also has a series of quotes from the original preface to the KJV written by one of the translators, Dr. Miles Smith. It would be rather tedious to examine all the quotes, most of which prove nothing or are taken out of context. For example, White seems to think the translators of the KJV favored the need for additional translations and therefore would welcome modern versions (p. 76). It is true the translators stated a "variety of translations is profitable for the finding out of the sense of the scriptures." But this statement must be placed in its context. In marginal notes, expandatory definitions would be profitable. At the time the average reader owned few books, if any, and did not have access to the great wealth of study Bibles we have today. Marginal notes explaining words would make the use of the text that much more "profitable." The translators would not accept the readings of modern versions. They had English translations based on the same type of textural readings of modern versions in the Catholic (Douay) Bible. The translators wrote "...and all is sound for substance in one or the other of our editions, and the worst of ours (that is before 1611) is better than their authentic vulgar."

The translators plainly state that their work was equal to David bringing the Ark into Jerusalem and Solomon building the temple. Their conclusion was, as even cited by White, that the KJV "containeth the word of God, nay, is the word of God" (p. 75). They restated this with, "And this is the word of God, which we translate," noting that it was God who "...removeth the scales from our eyes, the veil from our hearts, opening our wits that we may understand His word..." (Further, no matter how simple a translator makes a translation, it will not be understood until God opens our eyes. After all, the Bible is a spiritual book). One can say what he wishes about the translators of the KJV but the facts are very clear. The translators believed they translated the very word of God and that their work was beyond themselves.

White also advocates his idea of "expression of piety" (pp. 43, 45, 46). Simply put, the Greek text of the KJV is "fuller" because it uses expanded titles in reference to Jesus Christ. White notes twenty-three examples of where "He" becomes "Jesus", "The Lord" becomes "The Lord Jesus", or where "Jesus Christ" becomes "The Lord Jesus Christ." This "expansion of piety," White concludes, "led people to naturally expand the titles used of the Lord, possibly even without their conscious effort to change the text" (p. 46). What evidence does White offer for this "expansion of piety" theory? He gives an example of a caller who phoned in while he was on the radio and complained that he should use the phrase "The Lord Jesus Christ" instead of "Jesus." Does modern scholarship now consist of proof by radio?

This "expansion of piety" is not limited to 23 cases. The Greek texts of the United Bible Society differs from the TR 212 times on this issue of the names of God. The NIV omits the name 173 times while the ASV does so 210 times. Since the scriptures teach us "that in all things He might have the preeminence" (Colossians. 1:18), it makes sense to use a Bible with the "expansion of piety" than to have one where Christ is not as prevalent.

FALSE INFORMATION
The real issue is not the inspiration of the KJV, but the preservation of the word of God as stated in scripture (Ps. 12:6-7, Matthew 24:33, 1 Peter 1:23). White seems to overlook the issue, touching on it briefly at the end of chapter three where he discusses the relationship between preservation according to the canonization of scripture and the keeping of the Bible as a whole. Again, is this not the same argument the liberal theologian uses to deny Biblical inerrancy? All liberal scholars believe in Biblical preservation in the same form touched on in the "King James Only Controversy." But where is the scriptural support for such a view? Sadly for White and his cohorts, there is none.

The essential question is asked on page 243, "Doesn't Psalm 12: 6-7 promise that God will preserve his words?" After all, if God did not keep His words, then there is no need to argue about preservation. White asks, "Where does Psalm 12 say that the 'words of the LORD' refer to the King James Version of the Bible?" The response, and his insistence that Bible believers accept the King James Bible as inspired or re-inspired, shows that White has little understanding of the movement he opposes.

Still, the issue is not if the KJV is inspired by God. It is whether God did what he said He would do and keep His words for His people? While some redefine the doctrine of inspiration and apply it to the KJV, most KJV advocates revere it as the word of God for the English speaking people without any proven error. Those who dispute this view will eagerly show some verse they perceive as mistranslated or contradictory. The truth is all such verses or places have Biblical and scholarly support to show they have been translated correctly.

To "prove" his case, White singles out three KJV advocates: Dr. Edward F. Hills, Gail Riplinger and Dr. Peter S. Ruckman. Yet no quotations are given to prove his point. Where does Riplinger claim inspiration for the KJV? Dr. Ruckman states he believes the KJV to be God's word for the English speaking people without any proven error. This is preservation, not inspiration. And even Dr. Hills, as quoted by White, states that the New Testament as we have it today was "not inspired but God-guided" (pp. 92, 93).

The doctrine of preservation teaches that God kept and preserved all His words throughout every century so that believers can have the inerrant words of God. The difference between those who hold to the King James Bible as that word of God and those who accept the use of modern versions is this: supporters of the KJV can produce a Bible they believe is inerrant while defenders of modern versions can not.

Another example of false information is White's treatment of the "Johannine comma" (1 John 5:7). "If indeed the Comma was a part of the original writing of the apostle John, we are forced to conclude that entire passages, rich in theological meaning, can disappear from the Greek manuscript tradition without leaving a single trace" (p. 62). Without a trace? White thinks it was added in the fifteenth century. Yet, it was quoted by Cyprian in 250 AD, used by Cassiodorus in the early sixth century, and found in the old Latin manuscript of the fifth century and in the Speculum.

White cites several verses where he claims the KJV has mistranslated the Greek. As already stated, it would take a volume to respond to all of White's problems with the KJV. However, two things come to mind immediately. First of all, one must remember the scholarship of the KJV translators. These were not ignorant men. Most could read and speak several languages including Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic by the time they were in their early teens. They did not just read the languages of the Bible; they thought in those languages. They spent time not only teaching these languages, but also were responsible for writing Hebrew and Greek lexicons which are the basis of modern lexicons. It is hard to believe these men mistranslated a word and that all of them in the committee would agree with the mistranslation. It is one thing to say you do not like or agree with their translation; it is another to claim they translated it incorrectly. Secondly, the difference in translation can be seen in the modern versions. The very fact that the NASV, NIV, NRSV, and even the NWT all use basically the same Greek text yet reflect different readings shows that some Greek words can be translated with more then one meaning.

Gustavus Paine, using one of the KJV translators,
illustrates this point:

...Dr. Richard Kilby, the translator in the Old Testament group at Oxford, heard a young parson complain in an earnest sermon that a certain passage should read in a way he stated. After the sermon Dr. Kilby took the young man aside and told him that the group had discussed at length not only his proposed reading but thirteen others; only then had they decided on the phrasing as it appeared. ("The Men Behind The King James Version", pp. 137-138)

Even if there were no questions about text types, variance in translation would still be argued. The KJV advocate argues preservation verses corruption, an argument of textual criticism. The issue of translation is secondary. After all, one can not argue proper translation until he has settled the issue of proper text.

CONCLUSION
By in large, these are the same old arguments those who oppose the Authorized King James Bible have always used. You can ask, "Which edition of the KJV do you have, the 1611 or the 1769?" And like White, you can cite what you view as "Problems in the KJV." This is nothing new and the question still remains unanswered, "Where is the inerrant Bible you speak of?"

White argues that those who can answer the above question by producing a Bible which can be seen, read, and tested have become cultists looking for "absolute certainty." In fact, he compares them to Roman Catholics looking for absolute certainty in the infallibility of the Pope. He compares them to the Mormons who look for absolute certainty in the authority of the Apostles in Salt Lake City and to Jehovah's Witnesses who look for absolute certainty in the Governing Body of the Watchtower (p. 94). Strangely, all these groups would agree with White that the KJV is full of errors and they have something better. They are free to believe as they wish but truth dictates the assurance that God has kept and preserved His words. On this issue we can be absolute and certain.

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A coalition of pro-life groups is sending a letter to the FDA and Drug Administration asking it to not approve the new abortion drug Ella that backers have mislabeled as a morning after pill. The drug works days after conception to essentially cause an abortion of a unique human being.

In June, the FDA Advisory Committee for Reproductive Health Drugs gave its approval to the early abortion drug on two 11-0 votes.
The panel said the "investigational emergency contraceptive pill" known as ulipristal, that would potentially be sold under the name ella in the United States, is safe and effective at preventing pregnancy.
Kristan Hawkins of Students for Life of America has organized the Ella Causes Abortions coalition -- a collection of national pro-life groups and leaders (LifeNews.com is also a member) designed to inform the FDA, lawmakers, and the public that ella acts as an abortion drug and not a contraceptive.
“Make no mistake about it, ella is a dangerous abortion drug. The FDA advisory panel which approved it for sale within the U.S. has not done its job protecting women and is planning on intentionally misleading women by calling ella a mere contraceptive," Hawkins told LifeNews.com today.
She said she hopes the coalition "will help educate Americans about ella and encourage the FDA Commissioner not to give final approval for the new abortion drug.”
The letter says the "drug is deceptively portrayed as a five day 'emergency contraceptive' preventing ovulation, fertilization, or implantation – however, there is evidence that Ulipristal Acetate (ella) may also kill or injure an unborn child after implantation."
"Ulipristal Acetate and the abortion drug Mifepristone (RU-486) are both selective progesterone receptor modulators (SPRM). SPRMs block progesterone, which is necessary to maintain pregnancy -- thus starving an unborn baby of the nutrients it needs to continue life," it explains.
"Given ella’s similar chemical makeup to RU-486, women deserve to see evidence demonstrating that ella will not destroy or harm an unborn child and that ella’s modes of action do not include abortion, especially in light of studies that show ella causes abortions in animal studies," it adds.
The letter to the FDA says its own materials on the drug admit data is “too limited to draw any definitive conclusions regarding the effect of ulipristal on an established pregnancy or fetal development.”
The letter also references the advisory committee meeting and points out that a representative from Planned Parenthood openly admitted the abortion business distributes PlanB/NextChoice beyond the time frame approved by the FDA and its web site indicates Planned Parenthood distributes RU-486 past the time frame approved by the FDA.
"So there is a compelling indication that ella could be provided off-label to either intentionally or unintentionally induce an abortion," the letter says.

The letter says the FDA also has an obligation to inform women of the risks ella poses.
"Since ella’s chemical make-up and mode of action are very similar to RU-486, which causes serious adverse health risks such as severe bleeding, ruptured tubal pregnancies, serious infections, and even death, further study is necessary to ensure ella is safe for women, particularly if it is used off-label," the letter says. "The FDA summary indicates that the clinical study was too limited to draw any meaningful conclusions about risks associated with tubal pregnancy. Limited to no data is available about ella’s effect on minors or its interaction with other drugs, such as hormonal birth control."
The coalition letter also points out that the FDA advisory panel did not address the cases in which women who used ella subsequently gave birth.
One woman who carried her baby to term after taking ella gave birth to a child with optic nerve hypoplasia and developmental delay.
Finally, the letter points out that women who take ella and eventually decide to give birth could be passing along the harmful drug to their children via breastfeeding.
"Research in animals showed that traces of ella could be found in breast milk. Little is known of the effects that it could have on infants who are breastfeeding and the FDA must also ensure proper research and labeling to inform nursing mothers of the risks involved," the letter reads.
Ultimately, the risks and problems -- both known and potential -- are sufficient for the FDA to deny approval to the abortion drug, the pro-life groups conclude.

"In light of these serious concerns, we believe that ella should not be approved and should not be categorized as 'emergency contraception,'" they say.
If the drug is approved, the letter concludes: "At a bare minimum, the FDA must provide women with informed consent and ensure transparent labeling about the serious risks associated with off-label use clearly indicated, specifically, with the label including a 'black box warning.' Women deserve to know the truth about the harm that ella can cause to themselves and their unborn children."

In (Peter) himself the Church was reared; that is, through (Peter) himself; (Peter) himself essayed the key; you see what (key): "Men of Israel, let what I say sink into your ears: Jesus the Nazarene, a man destined by God for you," and so forth.281 (Peter) himself, therefore, was the first to unbar, in Christ's baptism, the entrance to the heavenly kingdom, in which (kingdom) are "loosed" the sins that were beforetime "bound; "and those which have not been "loosed" are "bound," in accordance with true salvation; But however, through the grace of Jesus we believe that we shall be saved in the same way as they."282 This sentence both "loosed" those parts of the law which were abandoned, and "bound" those which were reserved.

Hence the power of loosing and of binding committed to Peter had nothing to do with the capital sins of believers; and if the Lord had given him a precept that he must grant pardon to a brother sinning against him even "seventy times sevenfold," of course He would have commanded him to "bind"-that is, to "retain"283 -

nothing subsequently, unless perchance such (sins) as one may have committed against the Lord, not against a brother. For the forgiveness of (sins) committed in the case of a man is a prejudgment against the remission of sins against God (Against Modesty, Chapter XXI)

4. If any one consider and examine these things, there is no need for lengthened discussion and arguments. There is easy proof for faith in a short summary of the truth. The Lord speaks to Peter, saying,

"I say unto thee, that thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound also in heaven, and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

And again to the same He says, after His resurrection, "Feed nay sheep." And although to all the apostles, after His resurrection, He gives an equal power, and says, "As the Father hath sent me, even so send I you: Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Whose soever sins ye remit, they shall be remitted unto him; and whose soever sins ye retain, they shall be retained;

" yet, that He might set forth unity, He arranged by His authority the origin of that unity, as beginning from one. Assuredly the rest of the apostles were also the same as was Peter, endowed with a like partnership both of honour and power; but the beginning proceeds from unity.

Which one Church, also, the Holy Spirit in the Song of Songs designated in the person of our Lord, and says, "My dove, my spotless one, is but one. She is the only one of her mother, elect of her that bare her." Does he who does not hold this unity of the Church think that he holds the faith?

Does he who strives against and resists the Church trust that he is in the Church, when moreover the blessed Apostle Paul teaches the same thing, and sets forth the sacrament of unity, saying, "There is one body and one spirit, one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God? " (Treatise 1, On the Unity of the Church, 4)

5. And this unity we ought firmly to hold and assert, especially those of us that are bishops who preside in the Church, that we may also prove the episcopate itself to be one and undivided. Let no one deceive the brotherhood by a falsehood: let no one corrupt the truth of the faith by perfidious prevarication.

The episcopate is one, each part of which is held by each one for the whole. The Church also is one, which is spread abroad far and wide into a multitude by an increase of fruitfulness.

As there are many rays of the sun, but one light; and many branches of a tree, but one strength based in its tenacious root; and since from one spring flow many streams, although the multiplicity seems diffused in the liberality of an overflowing abundance, yet the unity is still preserved in the source. Separate a ray of the sun from its body of light, its unity does not allow a division of light; break a branch from a tree,-when broken, it will not be able to bud; cut off the stream from its fountain, and that which is cut off dries up.

Thus also the Church, shone over with the light of the Lord, sheds forth her rays over the whole world, yet it is one light which is everywhere diffused, nor is the unity of the body separated. Her fruitful abundance spreads her branches over the whole world.

She broadly expands her rivers, liberally flowing, yet her head is one, her source one; and she is one mother, plentiful in the results of fruitfulness: from her womb we are born, by her milk we are nourished, by her spirit we are animated. (Treatise 1, On the Unity of the Church, 5)

Iraeneus [Peter]

3. The blessed apostles, then, having founded and built up the Church, committed into the hands of Linus the office of the episcopate. Of this Linus, Paul makes mention in the Epistles to Timothy.

To him succeeded Anacletus; and after him, in the third place from the apostles, Clement was allotted the bishopric. This man, as he had seen the blessed apostles, and had been conversant with them, might be said to have the preaching of the apostles still echoing [in his ears], and their traditions before his eyes.

Nor was he alone [in this], for there were many still remaining who had received instructions from the apostlesTo this Clement there succeeded Evaristus. Alexander followed Evaristus; then, sixth from the apostles, Sixtus was appointed; after him, Telephorus, who was gloriously martyred; then Hyginus; after him, Pius; then after him, Anicetus. Sorer having succeeded Anicetus, Eleutherius does now, in the twelfth place from the apostles, hold the inheritance of the episcopate.

In this order, and by this succession, the ecclesiastical tradition from the apostles, and the preaching of the truth, have come down to us. And this is most abundant proof that there is one and the same vivifying faith, which has been preserved in the Church from the apostles until now, and handed down in truth. Ambrose [Peter]

Jesus is the Rock. He did not deny the grace of his nameto Peter he borrowed from the Rock the constancy and solidity of his faith-thy Rock is they Faith, and faith is the foundation of the church. If thou a Rock, thou shall be in the church for the church is built upon the Rock(the profession of faith in Jesus Christ). (St. Ambrose: The Incarnation)

156.Paul believed, and because he believed he cast off the zeal of a persecutor, and gained a crown of righteousness. He believed who used to make havoc of the Churches; but being converted to the faith, he preached in the Spirit that which the Spirit commanded.

The Spirit anointed His champion, and having shaken off the dust of unbelief, presented him as an insuperable conqueror of the unbelievers to various assemblies of the ungodly, and trained him by many sufferings for the prize of his high calling in Christ Jesus.157.

Barnabas also believed, and obeyed because he believed. Therefore, being chosen by the authority of the Holy Spirit, Which came on him abundantly, as a special sign of his merits, he was not unworthy of so great a fellowship. For one grace shone in these whom one Spirit had chosen.158.

Nor was Paul inferior to Peter, though the latter was the foundation of the Church, and the former a wise builder knowing how to make firm the footsteps of the nations who believed; Paul was not, I say, unworthy of the fellowship of the apostles, but is easily comparable with the first, and second to none. For he who knows not that he is inferior makes himself equal.(On the Holy Spirit, Book II, 156-158)

Gregory Nazianzen [Peter]

This one (Peter) is called a rock in order on his faith (Rock) he may receive the foundation of the church. (St. Gregory Nazianzen, 26th Discourse.)

John Chrysostom [Peter]

And I say unto thee, Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church; That is, on the faith of his confession. (A Library of the Fathers of the Holy Catholic Church, Oxford: Parker, 1844; Homilies of S. John Chrysostome on the Gospel of Matthew, Homily 54.3)

The Rock on which Christ built his church means the confession of faith. (St. Chrysostom, 53 Homily on St. Matthew)

Cyril of Alexandria [Peter]

Now by the word rock Jesus indicated I think the immovable faith of the disciple. (Commentary on Isaiah IV. 2, M. P. G., Vol. 70, Col. 940)

Augustine [Peter/Papacy]

So the Lord entrusted His sheep to us bishops [plural], because he entrusted them to Peter; if, we are worthy with any part of us, even with the lips of our toes, to tread the dust of Peters footsteps, the Lord entrusted his sheep to us [plural]. You are his sleep, we are sheep along with you, because we are Christians. I have already said, we are fed and we feed. (Sermon 296:13)

For petra (rock) is not derived from Peter, but Peter from petra; just as Christ is not called so from the Christian, but the Christian from Christ. For on this very account the Lord said, "On this rock will I build my Church," because Peter had said, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God."

On this rock, therefore, He said, which thou hast confessed. I will build my Church. For the Rock (Petra) was Christ; and on this foundation was Peter himself also built. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Christ Jesus. The Church, therefore, which is rounded in Christ received from Him the keys of the kingdom of heaven in the person of Peter, that is to say, the power of binding and loosing sins.

For what the Church is essentially in Christ, such representatively is Peter in the rock (petra); and in this representation Christ is to be understood as the Rock, Peter as the Church. This Church, accordingly, which Peter represented, so long as it lives amidst evil, by loving and following Christ is delivered from evil.

But its following is the closer in those who contend even unto death for the truth. But to the universality [of the Church] is it said, "Follow me," even as it was for the same universality that Christ suffered: of whom this same Peter saith, "Christ suffered for us, leaving us an example, that we should follow His footsteps (Augustine, Tractate CXXIV on John XXI. 19-25- Roberts, Alexander and Donaldson, James, Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers, First Series: Volume VII, (Oak Harbor, WA: Logos Research Systems, Inc.) 1997).

Pope Gregory the Great I [Peter/Papacy]

Seeing, then, that you know the integrity of our faith from my plain utterance and profession, it is right that you should have no further scruple of doubt with respect to the Church of the blessed Peter, Prince of the apostles: but persist ye in the true faith, and make your life firm on the rock of the Church;

that is on the confession of the blessed Peter, Prince of the apostles, lest all those tears of yours and all those good works should come to nothing, if they are found alien from the true faith. For as branches dry up without the virtue of the root, so works, to whatsoever degree they may seem good, are nothing, if they are disjoined from the solidity of the faith (Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers, Volume XII, Book IV; Epistle XXXVIII by Pope Gregory the Great I)

But I beseech your imperial Piety to consider that some frivolous things are very harmless, and others exceedingly harmful. Is it not the case that, when Antichrist comes and calls himself God, it will be very frivolous, and yet exceedingly pernicious? If we regard the quantity of the language used, there are but a few syllables; but if the weight of the wrong, there is universal disaster. Now I confidently say that whosoever calls himself, or desires to be called, Universal Priest, is in his elation the precursor of Antichrist, because he proudly puts himself above all others.

Nor is it by dissimilar pride that he is led into error; for, as that perverse one wishes to appear as above all men, so whosoever this one is who covets being called sole priest, he extols himself above all other priests. But, since the Truth says, Every one that exalteth himself shall be humbled (Luke xiv. 11; xviii. 14),

I know that every kind of elation is the sooner burst as it is the more inflated. Let then your Piety charge those who have fallen into an example of pride not to generate any offence by the appellation of a frivolous name. For I, a sinner, who by the help of God retain humility, need not to be admonished to humility. Now may Almighty God long guard the life of our most serene Lord for the peace of holy Church and the advantage of the Roman republic. For we are sure, that if you live who fear the. Lord of heaven, you will allow no proud doings to prevail against the truth. (Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers, Volume XII, Book VII, Epistle XXXIII)

Isidore of Seville [Peter]

So Peter first received the power of binding and loosing, and he first led people to faith by the power of his preaching. Still, the other apostles have been made equal with Peter in a fellowship of honor and power. They also, having been sent out into all the world, preached the Gospel. Having descended from these apostles, the bishops have succeeded them, and through all the world they have been established in the seats of the apostles (De Ecclesiasticus II.5, M.P.L., Vol. 83, Col. 781-782).

John Wycliffe [Peter]

I have joyfully to tell to all true men that believe what I hold, and legates to the pope; for I suppose that if my faith be rightful and given of God, the pope will gladly confirm it; and if my faith be error, the Pope will wisely amend it.

I suppose over this that the gospel of Christ be [the] heart of the corpus of God's law; for I believe that Jesus Christ, that gave in His own person this gospel, is very God and very man, and by this heart passes all other laws.

I suppose over this that the pope be most obliged to the keeping of the gospel among all men that live here; for the pope is highest vicar that Christ has here in earth. For moreness of Christ's vicar is not measured by worldly moreness, but by this, that this vicar sues more Christ by virtuous living; for thus teacheth the gospel, that this is the sentence of Christ.

And of this gospel I take as believe, that Christ for [the] time that He walked here, was [the] most poor man of all, both in spirit and in having; for Christ says that He had nought for to rest His head on.

And Paul says that He was made needy for our love. And more poor might no man be, neither bodily nor in spirit. And thus Christ put from Him all manner of worldly lordship. For the gospel of John telleth that when they would have made Christ king, He fled and hid Him from them, for He would none such worldly highness.

And over this I take it as believe, that no man should sue the pope, nor no saint that now is in heaven, but in as much as he sues Christ. For John and James erred when they coveted worldly highness; and Peter and Paul sinned also when they denied and blasphemed in Christ; but men should not sue them in this, for then they went from Jesus Christ.

And this I take as wholesome counsel, that the pope leave his worldly lordship to worldly lords, as Christ gave them,---and move speedily all his clerks to do so. For thus did Christ, and taught thus his disciples, till the fiend had blinded this world. And it seems to some men that clerks that dwell lastingly in this error against God's law, and flee to sue Christ in this, been open heretics, and their fautors been partners.

And if I err in this sentence, I will meekly be amended, yea, by the death, if it be skilful, for that I hope were good to me. And if I might travel in mine own person, I would with good will go to the pope. But God has needed me to the contrary, and taught me more obedience to God than to men.

And I suppose of our pope that he will not be Antichrist, and reverse Christ in this working, to the contrary of Christ's will; for if he summon against reason, by him or by any of his, and pursue this unskilful summoning, he is an open Antichrist. And merciful intent excused not Peter, that Christ should name him Satan; so blind intent and wicked counsel excuses not the pope here; but if he ask of true priests that they travel more than they may, he is not excused by reason of God, that he should not be Antichrist.

For our belief teaches us that our blessed God suffers us not to be tempted more than we may; how should a man ask such service? And therefore pray we to God for our Pope Urban the Sixth, that his old holy intent be not quenched by his enemies. And Christ, that may not lie, says that the enemies of a man been especially his home family; and this is sooth of men and fiends.
