Research

G. Craig Lewis

From http://web.archive.org/web/20071105011644/http://www.pulpit-pimps.org/archives/2007/06/13/to-pimp-or-not-to-pimp-only-craige-can-say-for-sure

To Pimp or Not to Pimp? Only Craige Can Say for Sure
You’ve been waiting patiently. For that I thank you. Here is my response.

I don’t believe Mr. Lewis is a pimp. That is, I don’t believe he is trying to get rich by telling you to give him money and by selling you worthless sermons, trinkets, or prayer cloths. And as far as I can verify independently, I don’t see that he does any of the things one generally attributes to the subjects of this web site. Yes, he promotes tithing. And yes, he does say “turn to your neighbor and say [fill in the blank]. But those things do not a pimp make.

I have listened to several interviews and a couple of segments from his presentation. I’ve even looked at several of the PowerPoint slide presentations he uses. They were available for download (free) from his site (click here ). The fact that he gives away anything is a major argument against his pimping.

In at least a couple of his presentations he actually took a shot at the men and women we have identified as pimps and pimpettes. Of course this doesn’t automatically clear him of pimpdom since our boy Manning (here or here ) also attacks the pimps – while doing exactly what he rails against them for.

Yes, Mr. Lewis sells his DVDs. But I don’t really have a problem with that because, strictly speaking, he isn’t presenting the Gospel, he is presenting his reasons for being against the use of a Hip Hop style of music and persona in presenting the Gospel. In other words, he is presenting the results of his efforts to uncover various aspects of the lives of Hip Hoppers, the history of the music, the effects of the music, and other stuff that goes into his presentation. This does take work and if he gets paid for it, it’s only fair.

Churches do indeed pay him to speak to their congregation and anyone else who may be interested in listening. Again, I don’t see that this is a bad thing. There is the idea of the laborer being paid for his efforts. After all, it would be difficult for Lewis to feed, clothe, and house his family if he wasn’t compensated for what appears to be a full time effort.

According to one newspaper article Mr. Lewis gathers in $700,000 in DVD sales. But again, he is offering people information – not about how they can get rich - information that Mr. Lewis perceives to be beneficial to the buyers’ spiritual health. It costs money to buy the equipment and supplies to burn DVDs. It also takes personnel to man the equipment and to keep the business/ministry going. Volunteers can only go so far.

Basically, with respect to the activities, I don’t see Mr. Lewis as doing anything any different than such “conferences” as “Walk Through the Bible”, “Strike the Original Match” and other Christian self-help activities. No better, no worse.

My problem with Mr. Lewis is two-fold. First, he is often very loose with the facts with respect to those things with which he disagrees or disapproves. Second, he’s hard core Pentecostal, with all the excesses that go with Pentecostalism. And often, an unwillingness to look at the facts is one of the excesses.

Apparently, there is some disagreement about the meaning of Hip Hop. He maintains that the phrase means “booty shaking”. The problem, though, is he doesn’t even try to present information that may actually argue in the other direction. For instance, Wikipedia (not always the most reliable of sources) says:

it is believed that Cowboy created the term while teasing a friend who had just joined the US Army, by scat singing the words “hip/hop/hip/hop” in a way that mimicked the rhythmic cadence of marching soldiers (Click here to see the reference ) .

Which one is true? I don’t know. My only point is Mr. Lewis never presents the other information. His motive? I can’t say for certain. But it does seem likely that he wants to make as explosive and as strong a case as possible, leaving no room for doubt about the correctness of his position. Unfortunately, his approach takes the audience for a bunch of sheep who need to be spoon fed and, in essence, told what to think.

Mr. Lewis is not very careful with his facts. He tends to look at the items that support him and ignore the items that don’t. While it certainly isn’t his job to defend Hip Hop, if there are statements that contradict the things he says (e.g. hip hop means booty shaking), these items should be addressed. Doing so can only strengthen his argument. Ignoring them can only weaken his argument.

As I said, Mr. Lewis is very heavily Pentecostal. Ironically, he promotes many of the doctrines and beliefs the pimps use to swindle the sheeple. Specifically, he has no problem with New Testament type Apostles operating now. Along with this is the idea that divine revelation (like that in the Bible) is still coming forth from God.

Additionally, he is very much into experience. For instance, his entire tear against Hip Hop is apparently based on an experience in which God appeared in his bedroom one night. During that visit, God told him to start warning people about the evils of Hip Hop (it’s mentioned at the beginning and again buried fairly deeply in here ).

Overall, I cannot say the man is a pimp. He may be deceived doctrinally, but as I have said before, having bad doctrine is not the same as being a pimp. But of course, all pimps use bad doctrine.

He may indeed have good intentions. But good intentions don’t make your presentation accurate. And bad information hurts your cause more than getting caught with the town floozie.

Man homie the way you talking it seem like you was waiting and looking for somebody to say something about Mr. Lewis. Wheres the love in that brotha, I hope you praying for him and everbody on the site. But I dont see where you thing this brotha is off at? I mean he told you to look up EVERYTHING he says, in the Word and on the web (because somethings you just got to see to belive).

(MN: Places where I believe he is off:

1. The idea of New Testament Apostles
2. His crusade is motivated by God appearing to him as a light in his bedroom
3. His support of Prophecy as additional words from God
4. His willingness to pronounce a person a homosexual without objective evidence
5. His dismissal of anyone not adhering to a pentecostalism
6. A sloppy understanding of Dispensationalism
7. A willingness to make sweeping statements about those he disagrees with
8. An arrogance that says he will not respond to anyone who sends him an e-mail
9. A heavy appeal to emotion rather than the Word of God
10. A loose handling of facts and information (example: A pierced ear was used as a sign of one Israelite choosing to be a life long slave (servant) of another Israelite (Ex 21:6). It had nothing to do with demon worship)

I could go on, but these are some of the highlights of his wanderings. )

you see, this is why i call lewis a sensationalist. he ignores the obvious (aaliyah’s plane was over loaded) and attributes her death to the fact that she made a movie called queen of the damned and said in an interview, something to the affect of, she likes the dark side. that was very presumptuous of him to say this is why she died.

he justifies his statement by claiming that every time a horror movie is made, someone directly associated with the movie dies because the devil demands a blood sacrifice. where did he get this information? i wish i could ask him about this “research” but i can’t since he doesn’t allow himself to be questioned.

he also said he believes that God allowed biggie smalls to die because he was getting ready to come out with a 3/6 clothing line and He (God) didn’t want kids walking around wearing the mark of the beast on their clothes. really? well if this is indeed the case, then i wonder why God doesn’t stop the kids that are into heavy metal from doing it. they’ve been doing it for years in some degree or another. beside 3 sixes, they wear goat heads, demons, pentagrams and other representations of evil on their t-shirts or on tattoos. is God more concerned about the hip hoppers than the heavy metalers? again sensationalism.

i just want to know why craige lewis is HELL bent on exposing what SINNERS in the entertainment industry do, say, and sing about? what does he expect from unregenerated man? did aaliyah, biggie, tupac, jay-z, jill scott, erykah, krsone etc ever confess to being Spirit filled believers? i’m not asking, did they ever say they believed in god or thanked god on their albums, but did they ever profess to have repented of their sins, and were now living for Jesus Christ? if they didn’t, then why does he focus on them? maybe it’s because sensationalism sells. look at all the hysteria that surrounded the y2k hoopla. some churches made out like bandits selling survival books and telling people to stock pile food and water. (my former congregation sold books after every service).

i’m of the opinion that although craige may not be a pimp in the same way the tbn crowd are- he certainly has pimpish ways. i think he’s got game and his message is primarily effective within pentecostal and charismatic circles. these denominations for the most part are very accepting of esoteric experiences, demonology, and alot of emotionalism. they’re used to the shock and awe messages and believe that someone must be a man of gawd if they’re coming against some wordly mess. but he only gets over because so many professing Christians are lukewarm and lack a personal relationship w/ Jesus outside their congregations. if they kept their heads in the Bible instead of the tv, gossip columns, music videos and other distractions- they would learn to discern for themselves the things that they should avoid and the things that are pleasing to God.

finally, if parents (noun) would diligently parent (verb) their own children and preachers would teach the whole unadulterated counsel of God- then craige lewis would be out of business- i mean, uh, his “ministry” wouldn’t appear to be so necessary.

I asked about the DVDs because I wanted to know.

It’s not enough to just read his site.

If Craige G. Lewis can’t provide enough free materials to make his position understood and what he has freely provided and promotes himself on YouTube has been found to have factual errors, that’s Mr. Lewis’ problem, not mine. If I’ve got to give him money to understand him, that’s a problem and not with me!

He’s a sensationalist, who has painted a style (Hip Hop) into a demon. And you know I’m not even into Hip Hop.

He provides many hours of material for free on his site. Given that (what I’ve reviewed there in text, audio and video) I’ve got issues with the man. He makes many just plain bad statements. He’s really extra-biblical and denounces all who don’t embrace his extra-biblical view. That’s a major problem. That’s how all manner of mess enters the church. I don’t think the DVDs will clear everything up. Unless on the DVDs he admits that these “visions” and “prophesies” pastors have must be in line with scripture. I just wanted to know more about their content. Never mind a word he says about Hip Hop, the man is like an open invitation for familiar and seducing spirits! HIS DOCTRINE IS THE REAL PROBLEM.

We pray for the entire body of Christ and we expose bad doctrine too. Praying for him does not mean we keep our mouths shut. This man has people coming out of Hip Hop mess into legalism and seducing spirits. Thinking they will be closer to God if they are babbling. Encouraging them to follow “visions” because the pastor said he had it and gets upset if someone says the particular “vision” is out of line with scripture. He even denounces people in HHH who say you must stay to scripture, I’ve detailed that in a previous comment in another thread.

Mr. Lewis makes it hard to reach him with criticism, but we know he’s probably reading here. Maybe it will help him. Our discussions help us in our walk and maybe it will help him too.

Regarding Aaliyah and Left Eye, like Mr. Lewis, you’re confusing spiritual matters with physical death. Hugh Hefner looks pretty healthy these days, Louis Farrakhan is still alive, Kim Jung Ill is still alive. If physical death is the measure, why are worse men still alive while those females are dead? Mr. Lewis misapplied scripture. (Based on what was said here, I’m not buying it.) Maybe he makes a lot of other errors on the DVDs, I’m not paying to find out. I’ll give money to some ministers, but not him. He is a minister who is too far into bad doctrine.

I believe many Christians drive into trees and die a physical death, but have eternal life. So Left Eye was not a Christian, drove into a tree and died. Maybe she talked about doing it. Somewhere in the world a Christian might drive into a tree and die today. Hugh Hefner is in his mansion because of his beliefs and physically still alive. Hefner’s odds for physical death today are lower than anyone (Christian or not) who is driving around in a 3rd world country. And especially lower than someone who overloads a plane and has a dope head for a pilot.

Hat tip to YouTubber thrufaithalone.)

Once upon a time, I thought G. Craige Lewis was OK. Then I learned more about his doctrine, started learning more about him and became concerned. All things noted and discussed in detail already. But on YouTube I felt those going after saints’ accounts were the type of people G. Craige was against. Well it appears in my opinion, that G. Craige is about leveraging the laws of man to ensure video sales, more than seeing the truth spread.

This is why once I started blogging more about church matters, I updated my blog’s copyright statement. So nobody would fear making a copy of material here related to church matters and I figure a Christian making a copy would cite their sources. I primarily like this blog to be cited as the source of something copied from here, so that I can explain or defend if someone has questions.

While I have major doctrinal issues with G. Craige Lewis, I felt he would not be uptight about people posting clips of his videos on YouTube. It gives him positive promotion and beyond that in some cases it helped spread some truth. Given my issues on some things of course I can’t say I agree with every statement from his mouth, but I felt many YouTubbers were selecting clips that expressed truth. I can’t say I know what video clip YouTubber BlazingSky2006 was using and I don’t know anything else about her or what she was doing on YouTube, but it’s pretty sad she lost her account over someone she was trying to promote.

So Christians being attacked on YouTube continues and Ex Ministries is playing a role in that.

1 Corinthians 6:1-8 (New American Standard Bible)

1 Does any one of you, when he has a case against his neighbor, dare to go to law before the unrighteous and not before the saints?

2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? If the world is judged by you, are you not competent to constitute the smallest law courts?

3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more matters of this life?

4 So if you have law courts dealing with matters of this life, do you appoint them as judges who are of no account in the church?

5 I say this to your shame Is it so, that there is not among you one wise man who will be able to decide between his brethren,

6 but brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers?

7 Actually, then, it is already a defeat for you, that you have lawsuits with one another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?

8 On the contrary, you yourselves wrong and defraud. You do this even to your brethren.

I’ve heard G. Craige Lewis claim he has to sell videos to feed his family. Well he is the pastor at a church. If he has need, his assembly should handle with that, if he’s being a good elder, 1 Timothy 5:17-18. Instead he’s engaging in the worst of what comes with peddling. By using laws of man against Christians.

2 Corinthians 2:17 (New American Standard Bible)

17 For we are not like many, peddling the word of God, but as from sincerity, but as from God, we speak in Christ in the sight of God.

If he wants to work of his own hands to supply his needs, he could always consider taking up something that does not involve peddling what he claims to be gospel. Like tent making, Acts 18:1-4.

There once were several of G. Craige Lewis’ videos easily findable on YouTube. Hard to find any now. After he went after some, there are some YouTubbers that feel YouTube did the rest automatically based on the file attributes of matching videos. I suspect if G. Craige Lewis had simply asked people using his videos to remove them that they would have voluntarily. It seems a YouTube message to the person he felt offended by would have sufficed.

I’ve seen more than one video of someone saying a YouTube account was shut down for having an Ex Ministries video on their account. I can’t say every video I’ve seen in that regard displays good temperament, so I can only post the one that is above. It seems some weak in the faith are not helped by what is happening at the hands of someone they felt good about.

People say they’ve tried to reach G. Craige Lewis about this issue and not received any response.

While it probably does not make him much money, it’s apparent G. Craige Lewis is peddling and acting as the ungodly do about it. So it’s like I’ve gone from once feeling G. Criage Lewis was OK, to having major doctrinal issues with him, to now having even more concerns about him. I had no plans to purchase his material, but I never advised anyone else to consider not giving him a dime. Now I’m thinking saints should avoid him, totally. I’ve never made a full post here that was only dedicated to warning about him, consider this the first.

I considered contacting Ex Ministries for comment. But when I went to their contact page, I decided not to. Primarily, all the page is about is booking him for a speaking engagement. Which of course he’ll want money for. And at the bottom of the page in small print it says the following:

For questions, please consult the arguments sections of our site.
We do not address rumors, personal issues, or personal attacks on G. Craige Lewis or EX Ministries, nor do we allow slanderous blogs, comments, or personal attacks on others on this site. We fight the devil at EX Ministries, not people. Ephesians 6:12

(I made the scripture noted into a hyperlink.)

His response to people that ask why he does not allow comments is interesting. I take it that is also why he does not allow comments on his blog. It seems he feels everything he does under the Ex Ministries banner is God inspired. And he makes it clear he’s not responding to phone or e-mail contact here. The only contact e-mail on his web site is for bookings, I’m not sure where any other e-mail address anyone else might have for him came from. They’re not getting responses and he’s said he would not be responding to phone and e-mails sent to him. But he does have time if you have the money to book him for a speaking engagement!

So I figure that he’s made it obvious I need not bother trying to reach him.

G. Craige Lewis, His Friends, and Pentecostalism
Saturday, June 13th, 2009 | Author: admin
When I began exposing Greek-Letter Organizations and Freemansonry 14 years ago, I learned a painful lesson. I learned that sinners were not the real problem. I learned that the church had been infiltrated by people in these groups. Yet, one thing I noticed was that Full Gospel/Charasmatic/Pentecostal type churches were basically immune to having public displays of their membership. This has all changed as well as my range of exposing evils. I have always been critical of some false teachings in the church, INCLUDING those I once held, practiced, and/or embraced. So when I speak on the Title of this post, I am not speaking in ignorance.

The purpose of this post is to expose a prevalent attitude, behavior, and arrogance that runs amuck in Pentecostal circle. I will then follow this blog up with the fathers of pentecostalism and its virulent offspring called Word Faith and Charasmatic.

These next posts are based on some E-mails I received. It was my proper and godly response to them, and the subsequent responses to mine that lead to this post. So, I will allow the Body of Christ to judge this.

These are the two e-mails I received. The Blog entries can no longer be found on the internet. My personal insertion were placed on June 2009. All other comments are original. WHEREVER YOU SEE, “Min. H”, is where I added some comments after the 2008 e-mail exchanges.

Note: Pay Close attention on who the e-mails are from.

Min. H

I suggest studying to show yourselves approved………..

G. Craige Lewis PUBLICLY REBUKED ME, YET MY PODCAST STILL APPEARS ON HIS SITE. He further claims other things for which he has no proof, no way to reference his statistics, etc. You see, in the Pentecostal movement, the very thought of one lying to another is foreign; you are taken at your word. So although he privately rebuked me in front of his friends, he said he still believed in and promoted my ministry about Greek Organizations. It’s okay for your friends to clown and insult me with your consent, and I am supposed to be cool with that. I exposed an Achilles Heel among you and your friends. You can go out and talk major smack about other people, but when it is dished out, you can’t take it.

Min. H

You used ONE man’s testimony in this E-mail. A man of questionable character at that. How much do you know about this guy? Did it even matter? Did you research this dude? I doubt it…… He gave you some ammo for your PERSONAL cause. He required no checks.

I now have reason to believe that G. Craige knows Apostle Youngblood. So I was or maybe wrong in my previous assumptions stated above.

Is Creflo Dollar Preaching Heresy AGAIN?

1 (800) 910-1709
TAPE #523D

PRECEDING THE PREACHING, CREFLO DOLLAR MAKES A STATEMENT COMMONLY USED BY THE WORD FAITH CROWD.

HE TELLS THE CONGEGATION THAT IF THEY DON'T GET WHAT HE'S ABOUT TO SAY, THEN THEY ARE DUMB. HE USES THIS PREEMPTIVE INSULT TO MAKE SURE NO ONE CHALLENGES HIM.

On this tape Creflo Dollar says that the word Spirit in Galatians 5:22

22 "But the fruit of the Spirit"

IS OUR SPIRIT, NOT THE HOLY SPIRIT?????????????

He uses John 15:5 to justify this premise.

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

He is saying that the fruit of John 15:5 is produced by us, so that fruit of Galatians 5 is produced by the HUMAN spirit.

BUT HERE IS WHAT CREFLO FAILED TO MENTION A PART OF THE TEACHING.

"for without me ye can do nothing."

You make the choice, as to whether this is crazy or not.

Opinions
The State of Denial Part 3- The Niagara Movement, NAACP, and the Harlem Renaissance.

People are entitled to their own opinions, but not their own facts. This is what people have lost in the midst of this liberal, emotional revolution where reality is meaningless.

The Niagara Movement of 1905, founded by W.E.B. Dubois, was one of the shrouded movements of early black civil rights. In 1905, the Niagara Movement issues its Declaration of Principles. Here was it the attitude toward the church.
“The Church: Especially are we surprised and astonished at the recent attitude of the church of Christ-- of an increase of a desire to bow to racial prejudice, to narrow the bounds of human brotherhood, and to segregate black men to some outer sanctuary. This is wrong, unchristian and disgraceful to the twentieth century civilization.” http://www.yale.edu/glc/archive/1152.htm
This comes as no surprise when you look at its founders, the organizations they belonged to, and their religious faiths, if they had any at all. The statement and views of these individuals and those who followed ushered in Black Liberation Theology of the civil rights era to the present. The Niagara Movement fizzled out due to disagreeing factions giving rise to the NAACP in 1909 with its founder, W.E.B. Dubois. Between then, the founding of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity occurred in 1906. The founders and members of this fraternity and the NAACP were freemasons, agnostics, atheists, white liberals (NAACP), etc. It is no wonder why we see in 2007 that these organizations and the many individuals that join them have no respect for the church, but use the church and the pastors for their bidding. Many of what the black community labels as its great theologians are members of freemasonry, fraternities, sororities, NAACP, NCNW, etc. All of these organizations either promote or remain silent on the issue of abortion, fornication, homosexuality, gay marriage, etc. A former president of the Boule (Sigma Pi Phi) claims that it is the ultimate fraternity. If it is, then why be so exclusive, elite and secret? I know why, but can you figure out the problem with the elite? There’s no need for me to mention any of the clergy of these movements, for they carried no influence for the holiness and righteousness of Christ.
Now most black people know who Dubois is; he was an elitist and a member of Sigma Pi Phi. Now how does a man who fought so hard for civil rights go out like this?

“Du Bois died a citizen of Ghana on 27 August 1963 at age 95. It was W.E.B. Du Bois who noted, toward the end of his life, ‘Half the Christian churches of New York are trying to ruin the free public schools in order to replace them by religious dogma.’”
http://www.ronaldbrucemeyer.com/rants/0223a-almanac.htm

It has been proven that the removal of Christianity from public life has had a crippling affect on this country. This removal is that problem.

The next period I would like to address is the Harlem Renaissance Period. It is said to have spanned from 1919-1930’s. I am going to take three prominent figures from that period to make a point. I will start with Langston Hughes and his poem called, “Goodbye Christ”. I need say no more about him than this to make my point.

Goodbye Christ

“Listen, Christ,
You did alright in your day, I reckon-
But that day's gone now.
They ghosted you up a swell story, too,
Called it Bible-
But it's dead now,
The popes and the preachers've
Made too much money from it.
They've sold you to too many

Kings, generals, robbers, and killers-
Even to the Tzar and the Cossacks,
Even to Rockefeller's Church,
Even to THE SATURDAY EVENING POST.
You ain't no good no more.
They've pawned you
Till you've done wore out.

Goodbye,
Christ Jesus Lord God Jehova,
Beat it on away from here now.
Make way for a new guy with no religion at all-
A real guy named
Marx Communist Lenin Peasant Stalin Worker ME-
I said, ME!

Go ahead on now,
You're getting in the way of things, Lord.
And please take Saint Gandhi with you when you go,
And Saint Pope Pius,
And Saint Aimee McPherson,
And big black Saint Becton
Of the Consecrated Dime.
And step on the gas, Christ!
Move!

Don't be so slow about movin?
The world is mine from now on-
And nobody's gonna sell ME
To a king, or a general,
Or a millionaire.”
http://poetry.suite101.com/article.cfm/hughes_goodbye_christ

Next is Zora Neale Hurston. On the surface, as with all of these other black elites, they appear to be cool. But amidst the buried information on her and them, we find things to be much different. She not only studied voodoo, she actually became an initiate into voodoo. She takes these experiences and translates them into her writings. What is most unfortunate is how she and other renaissance writers grossly distorted biblical accounts from their religious points of view.

James Weldon Johnson is probably the most respected member of this group. One would think from his collection of writings that he was a Christian. Nothing could be further from the truth.

“As a poet, Johnson began to experiment with the free verse form, producing what may be his best-known work, God's Trombones. Though a committed agnostic, Johnson used the work to pay tribute to the black preachers he remembered from his childhood.” http://www.sc.edu/library/spcoll/amlit/johnson/johnson3.html

My point in all of this is to show that what we see in the black community today is the result of what happened decades ago. Those people we exalted then had ideas that are ruining us today. As black people did then, we do today; overlooking their destructive sinful lives along with their putrid ideas of what life is supposed to be as a black person. We recite their poetry; and espouse their works, with no criticism of their immoralities. The biggest hoodwinking of all is that blacks didn’t do it alone, they were just PAWNS.

State of Denial 4
Black Liberation Theology
Fred Hatchett

The Harlem Renaissance, though the result of many decades of false Christian Theology, paved the way to one of the worst movements to impact and is still impacting the black community today. As you saw in the last article, there were plenty of God-haters in the elite black community. Just wait until you see who preaches this false gospel and what they believe (d) and promote (d). It is called Black Liberation Theology (BLT) and here is what it’s all about.

“Oppression relates to physical, economic, psychological, and political repression. In view of this oppression, black theology (and liberation theology in general) seeks to speak to "this-world" problems, rather than "other-world" issues; to concrete circumstances, rather than abstract thought; to the sinfulness of man's plight in a ghetto rather than sin in man's heart; and to a savior who delivers man from earthly slavery, rather than a Savior who saves man from spiritual bondage. This is black liberation theology in a word. Liberation theologians believe it is important for "armchair theologians" to stand up and be involved with the actual dilemmas of life.- Henceforth, the attitude of the Niagara/Talented Tenth movement. Since the time of slavery, Jesus has remained prominent in black theology. But with the rise of black theology and black consciousness, Jesus is perceived in a more political way. There is confusion concerning who needs to be saved. To be oppressed and poor is to be a child of God. Black theology is a recent development, arising in the midst of the Civil Rights Movement in America. Black theology, having an improper center, is humanistic and pragmatic. God and Christ are not held in proper biblical perspective, and salvation has too much of a "this-world" emphasis. Black theologians need to ask the all-important question, Who is Christ? From their answer to that question they may begin to answer whether they have a truly Christian theology.” http://hwhouse.com/Current%20Articles%20Downloads/Theology/an_investigation_of_black_theology.htm

Here is the unfortunate answer to the same question Jesus asked of Himself. Who do MEN say that I am? Some say this, some say that….. Then the question gets more personal and invasive. Who do you (the disciples) say that I am? Now what black liberation theologians have done is answered the question from an oppressed, slave mentality point of view. I have a serious problem with the black preachers who espouse this doctrine, because the same people that Jesus asked that question to were oppressed by the Romans. But guess what, many Jews had the same belief or mindset that black liberation preachers employ. The belief was that Jesus was going to free His people from their oppressors. THEY WERE WRONG!!!! In 70 A.D., the Romans destroyed the Jewish Temple and killed many Jews. Jesus came to set us free from The Oppressor, Satan.

“James Cone was the first person to create a systematic Black theology. He is one of America's best known architects of Black theology, a form of Liberation theology. He is currently the Charles Augustus Briggs Distinguished Professor of Systematic Theology at Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York.” jcone@uts.columbia.edu Dr. Cone is an ordained minister in the African Methodist Episcopal Church
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Cone_%28theologian%29

“Though the field of Black Liberation Theology received its name in the 1960s, the course will broaden the definition of its practitioners to include Pan Africanists
from earlier eras who used the teachings of Christianity and/or the vehicle of the
Black Church as foundational to their efforts for securing a self-determining

“Another significant variable was found to be denominational affiliation. According to Lincoln and Mamiya, the black denominations with higher educational levels among their clergy - such as the African Methodist Episcopal Church - are the major proponents of liberation theology."
http://home.earthlink.net/~ronrhodes/BlackTheology.html

Other Black Liberation Theologians include Martin Luther King Jr., Jesse Jackson, Jeremiah Wright, and Cornel West.

In conclusion, BLT stems from a longing to be free from white oppression, and that Jesus should be the one to exact this freedom. Forget Jesus’ mission, which was to save and seek those that are lost. This is why the claims of many that the church was the center or foundation of the civil rights movement are such a farce. Anyone who believes that a return to the church is going to do anything now is under the same delusion. Social change is useless without a HEART change. The church, specifically the black church was used and abused during the civil rights movement.

State of Denial 5
Civil Rights to the Present

The Civil Rights Movement is said to have its beginning in 1954. Some major movers, who we will find to have been some major traitors, fill this long line of elitist deceivers. One of the first things that occurred to start this movement was the Brown vs. Board of Education decision in 1954. Thurgood Marshall, then a lawyer, played a major role in this ruling. What is so ironic is that the same amendment that granted us equal rights under the law is the same amendment he used as justification for women to kill unborn children. The Montgomery Boycotts that broke the back of white control over where black people sat on buses ended. The problem with that is that they should have taken advice from people like my father, to start a black owned and operated bus system. They failed to heed, and no blacks benefited from it. They stayed poor, broke, but got to sit anywhere on the bus.

The next part on the timeline is the sit-ins. Actions such as these were called civil disobedience. It was good for those times, and in some cases could prove valuable today, but our community lacks something called follow through and moral integrity. Back then, the individuals followed through in the things they did, although immediate results were not garnered. In 1971, Virginia was still segregating their school system. But what the civil rights movement did lack was moral accountability.

The most recognized leader of this movement was Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. His Ph.D. from Boston University was revoked for his plagiarism. But his plagiarism did not stop there. The famous, “I Have A Dream Speech”, sorry all you King worshippers, plagiarism! The whole speech was not a word for word copy, but bits and pieces were taken from another preacher’s speech. This is just one aspect of moral accountability he is not held accountable for. King allowed a practicing homosexual and communist to counsel him and organize the 1963 march on Washington.

“A year before his death in 1987, Rustin said: ‘The barometer of where one is on human rights questions is no longer the black community, it's the gay community. Because it is the community which is most easily mistreated.’” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayard_Rustin

King’s beliefs on Christianity are revealing. The fact that King denied the Blood Atonement of Jesus Christ, the Virgin Birth, and the Bodily Resurrection truly places the church’s role in the movement as one of a backseat driver.

You have names of the civil rights movement. Jesse Jackson, Andrew Young, Ralph Abernathy, Stokely Cramichael, Nikki Giovanni, Coretta Scott King, Al Sharpton, et al. are just a few among the many. The self-exalted black leaders of today are only looking for lapdogs to feed their own personal agendas. This is what has gone on in the black community for decades. If you don’t go along with the status quo, the status quo will shut you out. One way to get shut down is to oppose anything in the black community that has a long standing tradition, or go against any of their beloved gods, dead or alive, and meet with instant disdain. This is why the REAL church and REAL believers could never be a part of the civil rights movement as it was then and is now. A real preacher would never allow and openly gay person counsel them or put them on the payroll. But this is the single lynch pin of such a movement. When asking for freedoms under moral precedence, you introduce all kinds of refuse to your cause. The civil rights movements did just this. Communists, atheists, socialists, agnostics, philanthropists (self-serving), all displayed the characteristics of moral relativism. I do not oppose freedom and equality under the law, but the moral breakdown and moral relativism of the movement and its leaders have been passed down. The NAACP endorses abortion. A major player in the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC), Minister Fred Shuttlesworth resigns as president due to,

"deceit, mistrust and a lack of spiritual discipline and truth have eaten at the core of this once-hallowed organization". http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/keyword?k=sclc

This man of God is one of the few to stand on the Rock. After 50 years, and this is what he says. Who is going to hold Thurgood Marshall accountable for his hypocrisy? What do black people want from their leaders? From the looks of it, a little charisma goes a long way. Their moral views are overlooked as long as they want to help the cause for black people, even if it means killing some before they’re born. A question to all the civil rights bangers, who is your savior; Jesus or Martin? Choose this day whom you will serve! Does he deserve a holiday?

State of Denial: The Black Community and the Denial of its Problems
Part I
Opinions

There are some things in the black community that cannot be ignored. The biggest problem is the breakdown of the family unit. How did this happen? Elitists, Humanists and Feminists are the subject of part one.

“It Seems Incredible.
Difficult though it is to accept that the attitudes and ambitions of an entire civilization can be manipulated, let us not forget it has taken humanity thousands of years of painful experience to learn that the secure family and responsible moral behaviour is the only foundation for a strong nation, security and contentment. But it has taken a mere three generations of conditioning to erase the memory of these lessons and has allowed, just in the last few years, laws to be set in place that make the family legally irrelevant.”
http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/avoid7.htm

The family structure has been in place in many cultures for thousands of years. It was very well recognized that a deviation from the NORMAL family structure of father, mother, and children, if they have any, is the bedrock of any society. We think that because we are an educated and advanced civilization we are higher up the moral totem pole. But let me say this about America; we are getting lower and lower on the moral dipstick. This degradation of the family unit takes place in many ways. First in secret by the elitists, who understood that even the "common" man would accept their agenda, of a few ruling the many, if done openly. This diabolical scheme began in the classroom with SECULAR HUMANISM. Teach the children humanist doctrines without their parent’s knowledge, or so well disguise it that it appears harmless. One common teaching of humanism is relative morality, "if it feels good, do it". Another was to make the patriarchal structure of society appear to be a selfish agenda promoted by evil men wanting control. By appealing to the desire of freedom from the standpoint of male oppression was a tasty treat that women could not resist, as Eve could not resist godhood in the garden; godhood being the final end product of Secular Humanism. This engendered the worst encroachment of all, women’s hatred of the marriage institution, disguising it under the impression of male domination. With the male already out and working; the loss of the wife to pursue her own career would leave the child in governmental hands through the daycare system. This means 8 hours for the government daycare and maybe 3 for two tired parents to make lasting impression of a child’s life.

“The clear aims of the socialist movement include getting women (back 100 years) into the workforce where they cannot look after the children, and getting children into the care of the state for brainwashing into self-destructive, anti-social philosophy.
Dr. Jay Belsky, Professor of Human Development at Penn State University, USA, after ten years research into the effects of 'child care centres' says that babies left at such places for 20 or more hours a week, have measurably greater behaviour problems and emotional insecurity ten years later.”
http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/avoid7.htm

These are books in Australian classrooms.

“From the ‘Combat Sexism Kit’ book 1 for teachers: ‘...the marriage law is the most damnable outrage upon women that was ever conceived.’ From the same kit - Book 2 for students, the story is told of the breast-people and the breastless ones - the only difference being that the breast-people gave birth. And I quote: ‘... one day the breastless ones noticed that the breast-people were getting strong and skillful ... The difference and the progress of the breast-people, so startled and frightened the breastless ones ... So the breastless ones committed the first crime - they took possession of the lives of the breast-people and their little ones, robbed them of all they created and produced, took away their freedom and made them slaves. Their crime was known as ‘marriage’ ... With no excuse for their behaviour, the males invented a lie to justify their crime ... When resistance continued, the males wrote their lies in books, and these books were The Bible, The Koran and the texts of Hinduism. To be assured of power, what was written became law and those who broke the law were punished, so the right of the males to enslave the females became legal and from then on the males were men and the females women.’” http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/avoid6.htm

Now this foolishness, which it was then and is now, is accepted as the norm in the United States. Humanists and feminists with the help of the powerful elitists have, via the media and TV, infiltrated our minds and numbed our consciousness. Here is a real example. I asked a 12 year-old girl two questions. “Do you believe that homosexuality is wrong?” She said no not really. This is the answer I expected. Then I asked the same question in a different way. “Do you believe it is okay for a man to take his penis and stick it in another man’s behind? “No”! The Humanists want us to view homosexuality in the context of gay love, not anal sex.

So think it not strange when a man wants to fornicate with you for 3 years, with no thought of marrying you. Do not think it strange ladies, when you find yourself 35 with a Ph.D., unmarried and maybe pregnant or with a baby, but you’re getting paid. You had plenty of good men come along, but the feminist, breast people, bamboozled your mind. Men, do not think it strange when you meet Ms. Right and she wants no commitment, just a small donation. Can I end it with a some songs from way back?

“If I wanna take a guy home with me tonight
It's none of yo business
And if she wanna be a freak and sell it on the weekend
It's none of yo business”
SALT N PEPA

I heard she is now saved. God is Good! I would like to hear that she decries all of her former music.

The State of Denial 2- The Elite and Music
Opinions

One can deny all they want that music has no effect on people. Well that is exactly what the elitists want you to think. The data is out there, the testimonies have been given that music does affect the listener.

“Recently NBC Dateline had a story about two average American teenagers who murdered and cut up a friend, put the body parts in a garbage bag and hid it in a drain sewer. The DVD explains how music is the most effective means of brainwashing and mind control, especially if the audience thinks it's listening to spontaneous creative expression. Produced by ‘Fight the Good Fight Ministry’ the DVD analyses the lyrics, interviews and album art of more than sixty superstars. The consistent espousal of the ideas of Satanists Aleister Crowley, Anton LaVey (Howard Levey) and Madame Blavatsky, and their inclusion in the album art, along with familiar Satanic imagery, is part of a deliberate elite agenda. The unabashed espousal of evil raises the question: why are the world's biggest corporations purveying this poison?”
http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/article.asp?ID=5408

The elitists want their underlings to believe in a utopia like the one in John Lennon’s song, Imagine. Yet, they are behind the music agenda that rains down anarchy and atheism on our society. The belief in a universal God for all has always been taught in music. Look at adolescent girls today shaking their rumps like a BET Ho, I mean pro. Look at adolescent boys today with nothing better to do than put their hats on backwards and impregnate girls before their 13th birthday. But we have ignorant college kids; yes AT NCSU, promoting this form of hypnotic genocide. You know what they call it? Art and entertainment! Blacks and whites see there various forms of ungodly music no differently than someone painting Jesus floating in a toilet of urine.

In biblical times they even knew by the sound of the music whether or not it was for worship or mischief. Even demons could tell the difference without any words being necessary.

“Psychologists that specialize in the field of music's influence on humans are unanimous in their warnings concerning rock music. Noted psychologist John Kappas, showed that people "are truly susceptible to conscious messages on a record and that excitation and melancholy can be created by music/sensory overload... `Any time you overload the mind, the person becomes very suggestible. They will take in anything that you suggest at that time because they have no defenses against it.” http://www.orthodoxphotos.com/readings/rock/deranging.shtml

“Music is one of the most inspirational forms of fine art. Its power is contained in its ability to by-pass reason, penetrating straight into the soul, into the subconscious, and to manipulate a person's feelings. Depending on its content, music can evoke the most elevated and noble feelings, such as assisting in creating empathy for prayer — or produce quite the opposite, by arousing the most sinful and base desires.”
http://www.fatheralexander.org/booklets/english/rock_music_e.htm

Now when one reads this and summarily dismisses it, the elitist says great. They get paid more money, while we sink deeper into a drunken stupor of depraved morality. This depravity, if you haven’t noticed yet, is primarily sexual and drug related. You had one of those ignorant rappers, dressed up in a suit and tie, cursing out congress members this week and Michael Vick gets caught smoking pot. We don’t even have to discuss sex. Turn your TV on for ten minutes and you’ll see. Every single black event that I know of since school started has been a HIP-HOP music festival. I cannot believe how the mostly uneducated, drug-using, drug-addicted culture or sub-culture of musicians have hoodwinked two, going on three generations. It’s a shame. I’m glad I found Jesus. America has gone through a rebellion of phenomenal proportions. The music was always aimed at the younger generations encouraging disrespect for authority, including parental authority. The music industry was simply doing what the humanists had done for years. They subverted the status quo of society by targeting the children. The humanists used the classroom, and the musicians used the airwaves. When people try to witness Jesus to someone, the claim we are forcing religion down their throats. Well, you have had licentiousness, rebellion, disrespectfulness, buffoonery, politics, and religion shoved down your throats against your wills. The worst thing about it is that you have not even figured it out yet. So when a Christian brings Christ to you, they are simply trying to reverse curses, and doing it in an honest manner. It’s called in your face evangelism, not straight to your soul, without your permission, devil music.

State of Denial Synopsis- What the Elites of the Black Community have in Common
Fred Hatchett
Opinions

What we have here is a list of people, most of who were mentioned in the last five articles of the State of Denial Series. We have one single striking contrast among these men and women. They all belong to some black affiliated secret society and/or sorority and fraternity. Members of these organizations beam with pride when they go to mention all of the famous members of their beloved Greek or Masonic Organizations. Members will say what great pillars and supporters of the community these men and women have been. When I think of pillar, I think of uplift, holding up and holding together; but what you will find in this list from oldest to youngest are abortionists, agnostics, atheists, a voodoo priestess, pro-homosexuals, racists against their own, etc. First I need to define something, and then let the truth cry loud.

Malthusian Eugenics
Margaret Sanger aligned herself with the eugenicists whose ideology prevailed in the early 20th century. Eugenicists strongly espoused racial supremacy and “purity,” particularly of the “Aryan” race. Eugenicists hoped to purify the bloodlines and improve the race by encouraging the “fit” to reproduce and the “unfit” to restrict their reproduction. They sought to contain the “inferior” races through segregation, sterilization, birth control and abortion. http://www.citizenreviewonline.org/special_issues/population/the_negro_project.htm

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2007/10/25/obama-campaign-releases-o_n_69892.html

These men and women are supposed to be the crème of the crop in the black community, past and present. Instead what we have is the scourge of our community. Many like them and those they influence flood our society, believing that they are the Messiahs of blacks. They have poisoned the black community with so much relative morality that only the brave few stand on God’s Word. We need more men like Fred Shuttlesworth, who had no problem acknowledging what gays had done during the civil rights, but had no right to fight for those same freedoms as homosexuals. We won’t see preachers like him at the State of the Black Union gatherings. Tavis “cheese-eating” Smiley does not have the courage to put a real preacher on the stage. Our communities are so tainted with compromise that we ignore transgressions to keep friendships. We fail to warn each other of the clear and present dangers of society. These men used these various organizations for their own personal use, but also to keep those who opposed their purposes quiet. Greeks and Masons try to assume positions of leadership to control, not to lead. It’s high time we expose the truth and facts in our quickly degrading culture. When you fail to acknowledge past failures, you are left to learn in that old school called experience.

“Experience is the only school a fool can learn in and no other.” Mom

But smart people learn form other people’s mistakes. In my research, strictly for these articles, I stumbled upon names and people that shared two things in common. They were black and members of Greek-Letter Organizations and/or Freemasonry. But there was one other distinct characteristic they all shared; an elitist, snobbish, prideful haughtiness, antichrist mentality that has led and is leading the black community to its own SELF-DESTRUCTION.
