A discussion
Ok, Thanks for your words,
Here is my response to you. The Bible is clear that we can worship God on any day we want to. Saturday is the day of the Sabbath. Sunday or the first day of the week can be a day or worship as well since we aren't to judge another person on which day they worship the Lord at all: "...."One man regards one day above another, another regards every day alike. Let each man be fully convinced in his own mind. 6 He who observes the day, observes it for the Lord, and he who eats, does so for the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who eats not, for the Lord he does not eat, and gives thanks to God," (Rom. 14:5-6).
"Therefore let no one act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day— 17things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ." (Col. 2:16-17).
So, the deal is that Jesus Christ followed the Sabbath as the new covenant wasn't in existence fully yet. After, Jesus Christ's death and resurrection, we follow his commandment, but we also follow the new covenant. In the NT, we can worship God on every day of the week. Also, you characterization of Christianity is interesting, since real Christians follow God, fight for the truth, and live their lives righteous. Christianity made inventions, gave inspiration and improvement unto the people of the Third World, and get a lot of great proficient things in the world at large. So, I don't follow follow stereotypes about Christianity. Also, in the NT, God told Peter to eat pork as a signal of the new covenant. There is a distinction between the old and new covenant. In other words, Noah was told by God to build an ark, but not today. God told Moses to construct a Temple to house the Ark of the Covenant. God doesn't tell us to house the Ark of the covenant today, because we live after the arrival of Jesus Christ. In other words, there are changes on how Christians conduct themselves from the Old covenant. You seem to might be a 7th Adventist or agree with some of their teachings by the tone of your words.
As for Zionism, Zionists aren't monolithic. Some try to do the right thing and other don't. You talk about land, but God made an eternal covenant with the Hebrew people to own a certain piece of land in Eretz Yisreal. I don't follow unconditional support for the policies of Israel, but I believe that any human being has a right to peacefully live in any nation they desire. That's just me. You can doubt Christianity as it now since that's your right. I reject apostate Christians, yet real Christianity is here to stay. It will remain forever. I have wonder about skeptics and doubters, but I have never wondered about doubting God or his Word at all. Especially now with all of the archaeological, scientific, and historical evidence for the perservation of the Bible. I will never doubt God and I will never doubt the existence of real Christianity.

Hi.
Just some questions on today's christianity. Why is it that the majority of religions worship on sunday when the Bible clearly states Saturday? Even Christ worshipped 'as was his custom' on the Sabbath. Why is it that Christianity allows for the eating of pork, when again, the Bible states what is clean and unclean. Noah was told to load 7 pair of the animals satisfactory for sacrifice and eating and 2 pair of the unclean. Have you wondered about these things? I have and I am taking a second look at today's so-called Christianity.
Tell me your thoughts.
By the way, I am a 40-something that has spent his life seeking the truth and really have started doubting Christianity as America observes it. I am not a Zionist, because the only one who can make any land Holy is our creator, not some guy named Bob or whatever.
I am looking for earnest discussion.
Herb
